He is polite, professional, and personable, and the perfect compliment to the rest of the staff. I was always seen promptly, and often saw different people. Not such a big deal, but some seemed more knowledgeable than others. I had several areas on my body that needed to be treated, and the doctor who performed my injections worked miracles. I only saw him once and can't say that I ever met Dr. Barbour, yet I've only heard good things about him. I did see the same PA twice, and he gets extra credit for listening to my concerns and showing genuine empathy. A lady loudly yelled at her to come back immediately to check out, then continued some lower tone smart ass comment. The elderly lady then came to window, to tell them the doctor said she did not need to check out, then they confirmed it. AND DID NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE TO THE LADY. I get into the room, doctor did great, nurse who was helping doctor did great. LEFT. Now I am insane amount of pain from location of procedure, I call at 8am, then again at 11am to be pushed into voicemails. To get a call back at 3:15pm to be told I can come get it but they close by 4pm. ... uh what? you ON PURPOSE waited till the last moment to tell me I can drive there to come get the script? This is terrible, I will be sending this issue to as many Wellstar as I can, this should not be allowed.

Dr John informed me and talked with me and explained everything that was necessary in order for me to have my surgery we waited a week. He did the surgery and I've had no problems with it since. I had a very good friend whom went to an orthopedic and she walks like a pirate unfortunately. Thank God, I left that orthopedic office in so much pain and went to Dr John and did such an amazing job that I barely had any swelling. it healed very quickly and he did it with one surgery. He always tries many other ways to deal with your foot issues other than trying to rush you into surgery like so many doctors do. I would never go to another podiatrist and I'm so grateful for him every day . He has always made me feel like I was his special patient.. I trust him completely and you would too. If you had experienced the things that I've been through . I can't say enough positive things about him. He is an amazing doctor and worth every minute of waiting,that is if you have to wait. i've never had to wait for very long and like I said if I did, it was worth every minute I highly recommend Dr John. ,He is so kind but mainly so intelligent and probably the best foot doctor you could possibly get. I didn't want to…read moreundergo surgery so I looked for someone who understood this and would help me figure out an alternative. Dr Sylvia was my saviour. She understood exactly what I needed and created a plan for me, to try alternative solutions. This took over a year. Anytime I went in for my appointment, I was always sure that I was in good hands because she is very thorough, understanding and knows what she's doing. Over one year later, I now walk without crutches and without pain, and without ever having surgery. A combination of process and procedures went into my healing and Dr Sylvia was one of them. The reason I took out one star was because of her rude receptionist whom I am hoping no longer works there because she ruins the expectation which greatly contrasts the amazing consultation you get from Dr Sylvia. If you can ignore the receptionists abrupt rudeness, Dr Sylvia is the best you'll get, hands down!

I canceled the appointment and I'm not going in and paying them to take out stitches. I can do that myself. It was like taking a splinter out of my hand. It's not a big deal. I survived open-heart surgery. I think I can manage these stitches not impressed at all.
