From the moment that I first contacted Alisa through her website, she was fantastic. I really liked that she gives you information on everything, from ideas of location to suggestions on how to dress. My advice is to listen to her advice :) My family just moved to Breck, and I don't live there, and so no one in our group knew the area super well. But I mentioned what kind of location we were looking for and she gave me a few great options. It seemed like she was very used to clients not knowing their way around Breck and was super helpful in that regard. She even had a brunch location suggest for us, after our shoot. I wanted to get some photos with my parents and the family tree they created (ie my parents, their kids and their grandkids). The shoot included a 7 year old, 2 year old and a 10 month old. There was a lot of kid-wrangling to do and Alisa was amazing. My 7 year old nephew hates having his photo taken. Seriously. He hates it. I don't think I have a single decent photo of him. But Alisa was able to get him to smile and be silly for her. She got some amazing group photos, as well as portraits of him! And she was even able to wrangle my unpredictable baby. Her quote was actually a bit higher than other quotes I got. But from her portfolio photos, as well as her communication skills, I suspected that she'd be worth it. And now that I have the finished photos, I know that I was right. Her ability to handle little kids is incredible. It's definitely not something that everyone can do and I think it kind of key for a family photographer. For anyone looking to take some photos in Breck, I can't suggest Alisa enough.

And it is our favorite because it is exactly what we wanted. With relatives on either coast and us in the middle in Colorado, we are thrilled knowing that even though our family and friends were not in attendance at our wedding, they feel like they experienced it with us! Jason was incredibly flexible when we contacted him to explain that we were moving our wedding up and asked if they'd instead be available in two weeks. He responded promptly to any of our questions. During our initial appointment, we felt he was genuinely interested in us as a couple and what we wanted for our big day. Since we were experiencing the added stress of a compressed timeline, we appreciated the transparency of their pricing and felt confident we knew what we were getting for the investment.
