I was quoted $400 at the time of service for a deep cleaning that I was told was necessary. I paid that amount in full before the appointment, assuming everything was settled. Weeks later, I received an unexpected $1,200 bill after my insurance determined the procedure wasn't necessary. I then had to request the office to dispute the charges, and after all of that, I still ended up being billed another $400 because they said one quadrant of my cleaning wasn't covered. At no point was it explained that the total cost could change so drastically or that I might be responsible for so much more after paying upfront. This experience felt misleading and frustrating, and I would caution anyone considering this office to make sure you get a clear, written estimate and confirmation of insurance coverage before agreeing to treatment.

When I confronted them about these charges, they simply threatened to send my file to a collection agency rather than explain why they provided services that were never requested. Avoid this office at all costs. They look at you as a piggy bank and try to collect whatever they can, for services that you never need to begin with.

I would just make sure your insurance is in network because I recently switched insurance and the office said everything was good when I provided them the new one. I got my cleaning and paid out of pocket for a fluoride treatment that they said my insurance would not cover. I got the full bill later saying this dentist was out of network and had to pay it all out of pocket sadly.

At my next visit, I received my temporary veneers. I immediately told him they looked too big for my mouth. He told me not to worry and said the final veneers would look smoother, smaller, and more natural. The next day, I emailed the coordinator to explain that I wanted a natural look -- not bulky, not too long or too wide -- just similar to my original teeth with a small upgrade. I already had beautiful teeth, but as I got older, I had some discoloration. The response I received was simply, "Thanks for letting us know." I also called Dr. Cooper again and told him I did not like the temporary veneers and asked him not to make the final ones bulky. He again told me not to worry. Four weeks later, I went back to receive the final veneers. They placed them with temporary cement and asked how I liked them. I told Dr. Cooper they were too big for my mouth, too long, and uneven -- the left side looked bigger than the right. I clearly said I did not like them. He told me he could not change anything and that we needed to cement them permanently. I felt like I had no choice, so they were permanently cemented. After that, I felt terrible. My speech changed because the top teeth were too big. When I talk, I sound different, and I sometimes struggle to pronounce words clearly. When I eat, I have to be very careful. I experience daily discomfort, nerve pain, and gum irritation because of the poor work. I have now spoken to four other doctors for second opinions. All of them said the veneers are definitely too big and bulky, and that is why my speech has changed. They also said the unevenness is due to poor work. I paid a lot of money for this treatment, and now I am paying even more to fix the damage. I lost my confidence, I am in pain, and I feel like Dr. Cooper ignored my concerns and did not listen to me.
