Officially don't hate the dentist anymore! Sha is my favorite and has been with me every step of the way. Dr. Hamilton has gone out of his way to make sure my mouth is getting back to normal. All staff and this place goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. I pay out of my dental plan just to come here. Worth every penny. Kerri sat with me even when they were closed to make sure the finances were worked out for my first visit. I still have many more visits to go, but I am finally not scared. Lovely dental office. It's hard to put into words how great my first experience was at this Atlanta Dental Spa location. I am writing a detailed review because I just want to share with others how much I'd recommend this dental office! I was impressed for a few reasons: (1) Dr. Hamilton has all the qualities you'd want in a dental professional. He is not only extremely talented at his craft, but he's very personable too, and makes you feel right at home. If you're afraid of going to the dentist, you won't be if you're in the right hands. While he was working on my teeth/gums, he consistently checked in to ensure I was comfortable and free of pain. He's very patient as well, which is huge if you have children and need to get their teeth cared for too. Going to the dentist can be such a nuisance, but after visiting here for the first time, it definitely felt more like a "spa"-like experience and I left feeling refreshed and happy. That never happens! And I had some pretty intense work done. Definitely looking forward to my next visit :) (2) The facility is brand new and has state-of-the-art equipment and amazing features (brand new dentist equipment, flat-screen TVs in front of the chair and directly above the chair, a quiet dimly-lit private room with a luxurious massage chair, modern and chic decor, etc.). It's a very clean, organized, and tidy office. They're also practicing safety measures against COVID-19 to ensure the safety of their patients as well as their staff, which I really appreciated. (3) The outcome of the dental work was superb! Dr. Hamilton performed a gingivectomy (removing only soft tissue), which was accomplished by using a Picasso laser. He was able to expose what was covered up by excess gum tissue (gummy smile). He was able to even out the gingival architecture and lengthened my front teeth which I absolutely love. He also helped smooth out the mamelons on my top teeth (the ridges at the bottom) by using dental bonding. I wasn't even aware of this procedure; he recommended it and I couldn't be happier! His dental assistant, Brittany, was also super kind and helpful in assisting with these procedures, which I believe adds to why the outcome was so impressive. Idk. Reading the reviews I can agree with some statements. But , I really don't want to give this review but your dental manager is so aggressive and short when you ask questions. She makes me so uncomfortable and Doesn't give straight answer and has such an attitude. We don't need an added stressor to our already stressful appointments. That short attitude may work somewhere else but it georgia most if not all are hospitable and have good bedside manner. No mistakes to be made with your healthcare. I am personally always traumatized by the dentist. I had an AMAZING experience at Atlanta Dental Spa at Johns Creek with Dr.Hamilton! Brittany was amazing at making me feel comfortable and really listening to my concerns, as well as my traumas from previous dental experiences. Dr.Hamilton heard my experiences and reassured me about what all was needed for my teeth. He created a great plan for me to achieve all my smile goals along with correcting previous dentist work that was not done correctly. What I also loved about Dr. Hamilton is that he explained everything that he was doing and why he was doing it so I was knowledgeable about the procedures that were happening and felt comfortable and secure. After my consultation was done Binish was amazing at walking me through my plan, helping me prioritize what work needed to be done immediately and breaking things up to support my comfort level and my work schedule! DR. KING IS THE BEST!!!! Shame on me for never making the time to write a review so here goes: I absolutely LOVE Atlanta Dental Spa ~ Johns Creek Location!!!! From the time you step into the lobby the girls are all so welcoming. Especially with these times with COVID they are taking all the necessary precautions. Dr. King starts by establishing and prioritizing a plan for me. He makes sure I understand it and explains everything to me and ALL the options that there might be. My personal case today: I was having 3 crown preps and a possible 4th crown prep. Dr. King said lets not make the decision yet, if you want let me get in there and let me see what I see and then we'll talk. I said cool, so when it was time Dr. King stopped what he was doing and explained exactly what he saw once he got in my mouth and further looked around while I was numb. He is also gentle when giving me novocaine as well, I hardly felt anything. He's just the best all around!! Dr. King is so kind, and also wants to know how my life is going, which means he's very personable with an AWESOME bedside manner. He takes as much time as I need to ask questions etc... I have a lot of questions LOL. His main goal in my eyes is to make sure I understand everything going forward and to make sure I'm always comfortable throughout my procedures. Dr. King is so GENTLE while he's in my mouth and while working on me he's constantly making sure I am comfortable along with his assistants which are all very kind and caring to me as well. Asking what TV channel I want to watch, would I like a blanket, am I still ok, they go over the bill what insurance should cover, etc... Today, Dr. King's assistant was Alaina Sarrantonio. Bottom line is: If you are afraid of the dentist or uncomfortable I will be the first to tell you just call ADS Johns Creek and make an appointment with the "Dental King". (In my eyes he's a King!!) He's got the right last name that's for sure. He is very anal that my mouth leaves there perfect, going above and beyond!! Dr. King is a perfectionist , which I love because I'm OCD and want everything perfect so I LOVE that about him as well!!!! Dr. King to boot even checked on me tonight to see how I was doing and feeling. I thought that was awesome having my dentist check up on me. The providers are amazing and professional. Unfortunately the business team does not share their qualities. I was notified around 1 PM the day before 7:30 AM next day appointment that my insurance on file needed to be updated, and to send it to them when I I could. No further info or statements about contingencies. I intended on responding when I was no longer patient facing myself or, as many people assume that one can simply bring their insurance information with them to the appointment. At 4:15 PM I received another text stating that the office would be closed at 4 PM and I would not be able to do the same day insurance update, thus meaning I would be paying out-of-pocket for my dental care. I did attempt to reach out, but since the office was already closed, I did not have any way to contact anyone. When I expressed my concerns this morning over the phone, the staff member became defensive, just confirming that I need to find a different provider that has a greater level of humanity and understanding. Pretty bummed, because again, the dentist and hygienist have always been wonderful. read more

Even though going to the dentist is a very common fear, I'm always surprised at how often dentists, and their staff, can still treat you like you're a burden, especially if you're anxious or having a hard time with x rays. Dr. Hamilton and his staff were incredibly kind and gentle during my visit and never once acted like they had better things to do then deal with my worries. I had an unexpected time crunch due to a meeting that popped up and they had no problem helping to make sure I was able to leave on time. After being away from the dentist for at *least* 15 years I was terrified of going back. Atlanta Dental Spa is fantastic with terrified patients like me. I let them know what specifically my concerns were and they really took it to heart. One of the main reasons I went with them was finding them after searching for fearful patients, but also a text option. I was so embarrassed after not having dental care for so long even calling to make an appointment seemed terrifying. I texted on a day they were closed and much to my surprise they responded. Their texts were so supportive and they promised to do a consult (AKA non painful) for my first visit. I could get my chicken self to an appointment if there was no pain and no judgement. My first appointment was as promised and no pain. They specifically asked what my fears were because they wanted to ensure they didn't cause any fear. They talked about my options and recommended a deep cleaning and offered IV sedation. I'll be honest I don't remember a lot of the appointment, but the staff was so friendly. I felt so taken care of and Dr. Hamilton even called to check on me. I still have another appointment, and even though I'm still scared I feel so much better than I had before. My smile is already noticeably better and I finally have a dentist that really seems to care. If you have dental fear I highly encourage you to visit. I was never shamed or made to feel bad about my dental care. They didn't push unneeded services or expensive care plans and didn't laugh at how terrified I was. read more

People say they have dental-phobia, but I think I take it to the extreme. I did a ridiculous amount of research looking for the right dentist. I needed No guilt, No pain and lots and lots of support and compassion. Atlanta Dental Spa provided all that and more. Dr. King is the king of dentists (funny and true) . No seriously, he is amazing. His staff is absolutely top notch and so professional. Lacey and Miranda are gems. I researched the credentials and educational backgrounds of the dentists and ADS dentists are the the best around. They offer all of the top of the line and latest technologies. Dentistry has advanced so much in the past 10 years. Invest in a dentist that invests in training and the latest innovation in dental health and cosmetic dentistry alike. I have to do sedation dentistry and even my teeth cleanings are a challenge due to very painful sensitivity. I wouldn't trust anyone else but ADS to work on me. I've been meaning to write this review for awhile and share with others that are chicken to make an appointment. Remember....chickens have no teeth, don't be a chicken! Please be aware that they DO NOT take your insurance. They will speak to you as though they do, but the truth is they will "work with" your dental insurance. Meaning they will take all they can get from your insurance company and then come after you for the rest. Atlanta Dental Spa has grossly overpriced services...Expect to be out of pocket almost $200 for a general cleaning! When you call to inquire they will kindly tell you that you signed forms stating that you knew that they did not accept insurance and that they are a fee for service dental practice. I see why others like this place but I'm sorry; you can keep your trendy equipment and lobby of fancy snacks. It's not worth the extra $200 in my opinion. I hate my previous dentist ever recommended this place. read more

I love this dentist! Not only do hey have TVs in the ceiling but their super friendly and knowledgeable. When i was pregnant Charissa knew that there were bacteria in my gums that could hurt my growing baby and she even contacted my dr to make sure i could take the antibiotics to get rid of it before she cleaned my teeth. They have a great referral program and my husband and i enjoyed a wonderful brunch at buckhead diner thanks to ADS! They even gave me a onsie for my baby! I love this place! read more

Visited Atlanta Dental Spa in Roswell for the first time this week and was quite impressed. Communication was great before the visit, sent me an email to complete paperwork ahead of time and provided text reminders, which are super helpful. Office is modern, staff is super friendly and they do a great job of explaining procedures. They are an out of network provider, so you need to take that into consideration. No one really looks forward to going to the dentist (sorry), but they do a great job of eliminating the stress and discomfort that many associate with a dental visit. I am surprised by all the reviews here. Please do not go to this place unless you have a lot of money to throw. First of all I would like everyone to know that they are out of network with all Dental Insurance companies. When you call them they will say they accept your insurance but they will not tell you that they are out of network and that you would have to pay a hefty amount on your annual visit which technically should be free. Also I am not sure what type of medical practice lists all the services you MUST have WHILE they are working on your teeth. They will never tell you that this would cost you an obnoxious amount of money. They will keep adding different services and never once mention that it will cost you a lot of money out of pocket, until you see the final bill. Moreover if you request for an estimate on the service they have recommended, they will give you one bill which will never show you your portion of payment making it seem like it is all covered by your insurance. My sincere advise would be to stay away from this place! read more

Unique, calming and tailored approach to dental treatment. I am a relatively new patient to this practice, switching after a horrible experience with a different dentist. Dr. Creasman, Charissa and the entire crew are really excellent. I have some anxiety about going and have some things I need to get done due to neglect but they didn't persecute me for it, instead were encouraging and we set out a plan for treatment. I've avoided dentist appointments for far too long based on fear and thinking I'd never fine someone I could truly trust with my teeth. Recently, push came to shove and I had to have a tooth extracted that was not salvageable. I'm so grateful to have found Dr.Hamilton and his assistant Brittany. During a stressful situation they both had me relaxed and laughing actually. They gave me a blanket to stay warm, chapstick during my procedure, and kept checking in to make sure I was okay. I've never been handled with such care during a dental appointment. I can't say that I "can't wait" to go back to the dentist, but I can say that when it is time to go back, I'm so excited to know that I am in such great hands that care not only about my teeth but also about me. Excellent practice. Had full dental exam including cleaning and exam by Dr. Boulden. Very thorough dental experience from the front desk to dental hygienist to dentist. Full assessment of medical history, comprehensive cleaning with focus on education and prevention in conjunction with actual cleaning. State of the equipment with focus on patient comfort and safety. Truly a dental "spa" experience with complimentary paraffin hand wax in warm mittens was very soothing and relaxing while hygienist cleaned teeth.
