Is kinda hard to find because it's off the main street down a little ally kinda street and is located in the very corner near a tree that kinda hides the sign. When you walk in you get the strong taste of fish (which is good because it means they are fresh) they have a host that will show you to your seat but when we went we had to seat ourselves since it was after the lunch rush. They have many options for seafood including ceviche, soup, shrimp cocktail, breaded fish, deep fry fish, and much more. I got the large ceviche and it was good but it had a little too much mayo mixed in it. Both my parents got the seafood soup (their favorite) but were a little disappointed because it was not as good as they hoped. They had seafood soup in other places that have more variety in the soup compared to what they had that day here. My dad only got 2 big prawns and my mom had 3 big prawns, they had no scallops in their soup and the broth was too thin instead of creamy. My parents give the soups an 'eh is ok' rating. I give my ceviche a 'yeah I get it again' but next time I would get the small since the big portion was too much for me to eat. They do serve tostadas and salt crackers on the side along with bread. This is similar to olive garden giving you garlic bread so you fill up faster haha. The homemade salsa was good but spicy and the best thing to do is get a tostada, put some lemon on it add some salt and a little bit of salsa, and omg *chef kiss* delicious. They offer a variety of drink options and the waiter was nice and attentive to us when we visited. The ambiance of the restaurant is not too overpowering. Usually, seafood places are super tacky with the decor of fish, the ocean, and other seafood themes but not this one. It had some big pieces along with paintings from the owner and his mother. It has a mural on one of its walls and on the other walls, they had beer decor. The restaurant it connected to this shopping outlet and if you walk down this one hallway towards the bathroom there will be a few statues of Jesus and other saints because... you know Mexicans can't get enough of that Jesus. There are probably like 3 seafood places in the whole city so it's safe to say we will be back lol. Not because there are only 3 places but this one by far has more seating and more choices in terms of food. So if you are craving seafood in the middle of SLS your seafood craving will be taken care of by visiting this restaurant.

They were out of many ingredients necessary for making their signature drinks... strawberries, mint, mango, etc. The pizza which I was also excited about was a big letdown, flat flavorless dough crust with extra flour (yuck) accompanying a variety of underwhelming toppings. Even the cheese was lacking flavor not sure how. The pizza likely should have been cooked for another few minutes. Nice place, cool atmosphere but the food and drinks need some work. It's tucked behind an otherwise unremarkable doorway between an Oxxo and a pizza bistro on the worn, narrow Carranza street, across from the Culinary Institute. It's worth trying to persist and find the door that leads up some stairs into the main dining room (there are two other adjoining rooms in this house that has been re-furbished as a restaurant). The rooms are painted in rich Mexican color and decorated with the skulls, religious figurine altars, and iconography typical of traditional, colonial Mexican culture. The Mezcal cocktails include one mixing both Horchata and Mezcal, but also others that blend fruits/cucumber infusions with Mezcal (there are about nine different ones to chose from). The House prepares its own Mezcals which you can take as shots or used in cocktails. The menu offers some interesting pizzas and open-faced sandwiches. I enjoyed the pleasant service, and the cool music. The dining rooms are nice but their terrace is open up above on weekends, when I hear, they have DJs that spin.

The tables are rickety, the staircase narrow and winding, but such is the charm of these places in second-tier, forgotten Mexican blue-collar cities off the tourist trail. This spot offers a quite good rendition of the "Enchiladas Potosinas" which feature tortillas that incorporate chilli and are redder in color for it. The one problem with the open-air terrace is their broken umbrellas which they might or might not get around to fixing. The sun can be scorching. The entire restaurant is an old house reconfigured as a restaurant, so the home's front parlor, and the main living room are all little dining areas, and you walk past a semi-open kitchen to the back stairs to reach the terrace. The kitchen didn't get a great rap from locals but it seemed adequate to me for a one-time visit. Focus on the beers and view.
