I've been wanted to visit…read morePoverty Point World Heritage Site, and this was a great place to stay that is about 15 minutes from there. The innkeeper showed us to our room, the master suite, and after we brought our luggage inside, we had a tea party on the veranda, which our kids really loved. Eva, the innkeeper, and Madison, her helper, had great conversation with us as our kids played hide-n-seek before going to the front pond/lake to skip stones off of the bridge. Our room was so spacious, and the bathroom was huge as well. It has a full jacuzzi/hot tub for a bathroom and the walk-in shower has two shower heads and a hand-held shower as well. The bed was incredibly comfortable. In the morning, breakfast was served and both mornings the food was delicious. Eva also gave us some great local places to eat as well. All-in-all, our stay was amazing and exceeded our expectations.
