I'm looking forward to getting the final quote from him and for us to, hopefully, commence the work on the house. The reason I went to him in the first place was because I saw the work he has done on a friend's house. The new kitchen extension was (to my untrained eyes, anyway) done to an extremely high standard and my friend and his wife were delighted with the work. What impressed me most of all was that the bricks used in the work were in keeping with the period of the house and so the next part really did blend in and make the whole house look as one.
