Please keep in mind we've been through 2 trainers that wanted absolutely nothing to do with her. Also recommended euthanasia. Also, no one would board her. No one. I had to put on my horse boots so I could get a better grip on the ground because she was pulling so hard to either go after him, or me pulling he towards the house and let me tell you- Mastiffs are strong. And I work with horses. Lol. She HATED her new trainer. Barked aggressively at him and threatened him. Felix Rosado was un-phased and calm. It took a lot of logistics and strength to get her into his house and in a crate (I had to do it because she was definitely going to bite him with me around) Felix again, unphased. Almost an hour long drop off. A lot of drama. I admit, I cried in the car afterwards. Then I was thinking....WTF. How is he going to handle her or get near her?! She wanted to eat him. Felix's references put my mind at ease and I did my best not to think about it. This is my baby. I stress. Nope. For once, I felt comfortable. I found someone with the balls to work with her. I respect the shit out of anyone willing to risk an attack to wrk with a misunderstood, aggressive dog. He's obviously very passionate about what he does. That in itself speaks volumes. Not only did Felix keep in touch with me throughout her stay with updates (I call them "PupDates"), he sent me a video of him scratching her, giving massages that same night Nala was putty in his hands. I picked her up today, she didn't give a shit about me. Loved him. LMAO. I came home from my trip with a very happy dog that made a new friend/trainer. We had a number of tests, and each time, whichever Dr. provided me the results, explained everything in detail, took their time with me, and the office staff always extremely responsive and compassionate. I must single out Dr Krouse, who I first met last July with Meadow. She sat on the floor with my girl, until my girl got comfortable with her and allowed her to feel her belly. This was not a 2 to 3 minute sit, this was a 15-20 min sit. Dr. Krouse took her time with every visit to ensure Meadow got the best care and that I understood everything. This past Thursday I had to make the decision that Meadow was at end of life. It was not an easy decision, it never is. Dr Krouse talked with me, assured me the time was right. There are not enough words to say thank you for the compassion for my Meadow that was given, the respect, the love that was given to both myself and my girl. She even remembered how afraid of needles Meadow was and took time to ensure she was not scared in her final moments. Dr. Krouse and the entire staff have been extremely kind, compassionate, shown respect to both of us. I brought my dog here on a Saturday because my vet was closed, the dog wasn't eating well, and I thought she might have part of a tooth that had fallen out still in her mouth. Compassion's owner scheduled her for a dental procedure the following Tuesday with an estimate that ranged on the high end to about $2,200, adding that he's not trying to steal business from my regular vet. As if. When my regular vet saw the dog on Tuesday, she immediately said, "Her teeth are fine. There's no partial tooth in her mouth." My dog's blood test came back on Monday, and her liver values were high, so Compassion scheduled her for an ultrasound that would have cost $200 more than the ultrasound she ended up having at my vet's office and take two days to read, whereas the sonographer at my vet's office read it immediately. In addition, Compassion's owner called me on Tuesday morning and said, "I thought I was very clear -- the sonographer can't come today" after I had been told that the sonographer would come that day, and then called me back, not to apologize for his haughty tone but to say he was mistaken. In addition, on Sunday when I returned to Compassion to pick up meds, an unhelpful vet who acted like I was wasting her time with my questions said my dog might need fluids overnight when she had not even had fluids during the day, so that made no sense. There is no compassion and a lot of naked salesmanship, overcharginging, and ignorance here. Next time I have a weekend emergency, I would definitely drive the 45 minutes to Guardian Veterinary Specialists rather than deal with this incompetent, unprofessional practice.

Blue had a wonderful time, made friends and was told he was selective when picking buddies lol Everyday they sent me pictures of him socializing with his friends. It definitely helped with bringing my anxiety levels down. They groom the dogs here, and I must say my blue Cane Corso came back looking like a million bucks. Our dog loves this place and is always so excited to go there. They always check everything when we get there, shot records, food, snacks, supplement and then we bring a bed , toys, blanket, leash. They even ask if she already ate. They always let me know when her next shot is due. Chris and his wife are always on top of everything, I can't say any other way.
