I have taken far better portraits of my daughter. But I get one every few years. They did do my daughter's dance school when she was three, and I have a fabulous picture of her in black and white in her show costume. Scrummy! Mind you, I was there giving instructions! So it seems to depend a bit on whether they're just standard or good.

I had a small intimate wedding just two weeks ago. I found Linzi through a recommendation from a…read morefriend who uses Linzi for family birthdays etc. I cannot thank Linzi enough for my beautiful and delicious wedding cake. Linzi recommended some flavours which were fab! Still guests are talking about the cake especially how well it kept after the wedding- it was just perfect. The flavours were subtle yet flavoursome. Nothing was too much trouble, Linzi suggested delicate piping around the tiers using the same pattern from my dress. The morning of the wedding linzi came and set up working with my florist. She was an absolute pleasure to use and thank you for all your help with recommending local suppliers too- you were a huge help :) Thank you again Linzi 10/10.

We got Linzi to do our wedding cake for our wedding in the new forest on the 30th April 2017, we…read moremet with her prior to discuss, sent emails and pictures and asked for it to look like a tree log with our initials in a heart as you would see carved in to trees and also followed the theme with our invites etc. She assured us yes she could do this. What we got was a cake that looked rushed, unfinished and not of wedding cake standard made buy a professional cake maker. To be honest i could have done a better job and i have no experiance. I was so disappointed and felt ripped off as the cake was just a plain white iced cake, no proper decoration, with just some brown lines around it and not even the & put between the letters, so just looked weird. She also did not do the layers as we had discussed with the flavours. In short Linzi did not do anything that we paid her to do. Since the wedding i have made contact with Linzi and expressed my disappointment, as this was now in my photos forever, i have sent emails and left voicemails but she has chosen to ignore everything, take our money and ruin that part of our wedding memories. I asked for some money back in compensation as advised to do so and of course she ignored this like everything else. No one could ever say this was a £375 wedding cake. All i wanted was a bit of ownership to the mistake she made and the professional good will to return some of our moneys paid, as the majority of profesional business's would do these days. i guess this will not happen as we are now a month on from the wedding, i just hope people read this and choose to go elsewhere so as they don't have this part of their wedding day ruined like i did.
