The waiting area is clean and roomy; with the aquarium as a special touch. Inside, the threrapy areas are clean and patient rooms are also very clean. SERVICE: I have been a patient/client/customer for over a decade. Initially due to an accident, and thereafter for chiropractic maintenance and massage. Dr. Jason and Dr. Tony are the best doctors. They have excellent bedside manners, very respectful and tells you like it is. They work well together and I would often hear them laughing in the office. Now, I bring my teenage son in for his maintenance. The office staff are also wonderful. Ms. Janel is always very professional, organize, and considerate. She always thinks of me whenever there's a cancellation because she knows my work schedule is complicated. And though the massage therapists changed overtime,right now, Ricardo's strong hands is just what I need. Unfortunately, he is only there on Thursdays but he does a really good job applying a good amount of pressure and beating my muscles into shape. Overall, my family love everyone here at Active Spine. It's easy to make appointments and reschedule. Paper work and insurance info are always updated by them and we don't ever have any problem collecting payment. Sorry to see Dr. Tony go, but Dr. Lopate and the staff are holding down the fort just fine. I did not want to take pain killers or take a nerve block injection; those are only temporary. I wanted to try a more 'holistic' approach to my increasing and debilitating pain, and also to learn how to prevent them in the future. When we are in pain we expect a quick if not instant relief from our pain, thus seeking an instant relief from the above mentioned. Chiropractors and Acupuncturists have a more difficult task of making us feel relief in "one" visit otherwise they are condemned as "they don't know what they are doing". My experience with Dr. Matthew Westrich was extraordinary. His recommendations to me for my condition of a pinched nerve in my neck with shoulder pain radiating to my hands was to see him two to three times a week for adjustments. After my first visit with Dr. Westrich, my pain went from a 20 to a 4!, I had so much relief that when I went home I started doing house work for over two hours and hurt my shoulder again. Since then, I've seen him 4 times and I'm 90% back to normal. I'm sleeping better and my hips and my sciatica are doing great!! My suggestion is just give it a try sooner than later. If you need surgery then go that route, but why not try something where, with his help, your own body can help you heal yourself!!! 1000% recommend Dr. Westrich and the rest of the people at his practice. p.s.
