Marcos and Anthony were referred to me by my neighbor. When they came to estimate the work, I very quickly realized that they understood exactly what I had envisionned but were also able to make additional recommendations to address specific areas of the flooring that would need special attention. They also came up with some recommendations on the color to enhance the overall light and visual appeal of the interior and style that I was going for. Part of the work required fixing some of the existing hardwood that I already had, fixing squeaking areas of the old floor and resurfacing it. For the new flooring area, they removed the carpet and meticulously prepared the subfloor to ensure that the installation of the new hardwood would be flawless and free of squeaking area. I was working from home at the time of installation, which took about 10 days, and it was so nice for me to be able to see the progress. It also made me realize the amount of work that went into the project and, while I considered trying to do this project myself, I am so glad I didn't and chose to use Marcos and Anthony instead. What they do is true craftmanship that clearly require years of experience to be able to master. The end result of the project is one continuous perfectly matching floor througout my house that completely enhances the atmosphere/feeling of the house that I know I will love for the years to come. And as far as pricing and value, I don't think it can be matched and I will use them in a heartbeat if I have other projects in the future and will recommend them to anybody who is looking to have a real hardwood floor installed.

There had been very little finish product applied. I asked Marcos at Oregon Precision Flooring to fix them if he could. I was in a hurry, and he adjusted his schedule to accommodate my timeline. He offered to test (in one room) whether his product would work over the last company's product. He ended up fixing the other company's work on all the floors. He really took his time, answered questions, and made sure the floors looked beautiful before he was done. Marcos and Anthony are easy to work with and they are really good at what they do. They are also reasonably priced considering their high quality work and the good products that they use. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with high standards.

Based on those discussions, we hired an architect for detailed drawing, had scheduled our fabricator months in advance for a July start. Just days before construction was scheduled to begin, the contractor completely stopped communicating with us. We called several times left messages asking everything was still on schedule or if something happened, and never received a response. Also, followed up with several emails and nothing. Now we're scrambling to find a new GC and reschedule our fabricator. The lack of communication was extremely unprofessional. While this has been frustrating, we're thankful it happened before construction started rather than in the middle of the project.

They worked really hard the whole time and were perfectionists about quality. I had a hiccup with my job -- I had a big sticker on my closet doors and it took off paint when I removed it! Jeff worked out a solution with me, to take the doors off-site and sand them all the way down. I appreciated that he didn't charge me full price since it was an unexpected cost. I also had a hiccup with a door that wouldn't close properly after painting. (It was probably a very tight fit before painting). This door also needed some off-site work to shave down the top, so it would close correctly. The team came back on a Saturday morning to bring me the restored closet doors. These little pain points come up with lots projects. You need a company that will take care of things when everything doesn't go perfectly. ESP will make sure everything is taken care off.

These are the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet, but the quality of their work is terrible. They're not able to paint straight lines nor deal with transitions between walls and ceilings and I'm still finding areas where my old paint color is showing through. Most of the missed areas are edges and around light switches and power outlets which is especially disappointing because I removed all of the switch plates prior to painting. There's no excuse for these missed areas. The contract they signed with me said 2 coats of paint but after one coat they said it looked fine and I agreed. That was a mistake on my part. Do not let them quote you 2 coats and then get away with just one.
