Our triplex was built in 2000 and had not been repainted since. As a result, the wood siding started to warp and burn over many years of neglect. That deeply concerned me and my top priority was to get the triplex repainted. After a lot of research and getting bids from multiple companies, we decided to go with C&G because of their detailed bid, reasonable price, and responsiveness. Here is a little background: we have two massive three-story townhouses in front and a one-story house in the back. So it was a complicated paint job. While all the bids came in at a higher price range than we wanted, we understood why. Carlos was our point of contact at C & G and was very responsive to my questions from day one. He spent time explaining the progress and listening to our concerns during the project. He also offered to fix some minor damage to the triplex while finishing the main project. There were times that he had to substitute products due to product shortages, and he always made sure to upgrade to more durable products. He also added an extra coat of paint without charge that it really needed to look more presentable after so much neglect. All of his work was greatly appreciated! Carlos also identified areas with water damage and gently reminded us to get our gutters cleaned every year. That's something we needed to hear because our units had changed ownership so many times, that we didn't realized that previous owners didn't clean them. Now, we will make sure that never happens again. It was scary at times to see workers up to three stories high to paint the trim, and I felt very grateful Carlos and his team took on this project.
