I previously put my condo up for sale and didn't really have much luck, the pictures were dark and did not show it off to the best it could, the realtor did not really seem to care or help me out too much. I felt as though I was low on the radar. I decided to go to the google machine to see who were the top realtors in Edmonton. After looking through the top 10 I saw the information on Sara Jessie Real Estate. The photo alone drew me in to see their website as some of the others had nothing by their name. I got a really good first impression by their website and decided to contact them. I received a response before the end of the night saying Jessie would call me the next day to talk. She let me know that they specialize in condos which was great news for me as that was what I was trying to sell. We set up a time to meet and she came well prepared with a kit to help de-clutter the space. She gave great tips and was very professional while being very warm and easy to talk to. She had a professional photographer come in and take the photos within a couple days of signing the papers and the pictures were amazing! She was great at keeping in touch with me and letting me know what was going on. Tara was the contact that I had to discuss showing and such with, she was absolutely amazing as well. 100% loved working with her. My sale was not an easy one and Jessie worked hard to get me what I wanted and also try to make things as smooth as possible. It was a stressful time and she made it not as bad as it could have been. They also provide a cleaning service for when you move out so then you don't have to worry about that! What a great deal! Both of the ladies offered to help in any way they could and were just a pleasure to deal with. I did not get the chance to work with Sara but I am sure she is just as great. Hands down would recommend this group of amazing women to anyone. I have never felt so taken care of and cared about, it was not about the money as paying for their services was never a concern to me because they have given so much added value I am absolutely amazed. Finally after a month of wasted time, I asked if we could fire her, and she said we would have to pay (which I was willing to do to be rid of her). Then when she finally met with me, she admitted that she was upset we didn't take that first offer, so she stopped marketing our house! Melissa could not have been a better realtor…read more My fiance and I were originally interested in a listing of an older home, and I contacted Remax directly. I was lined up with a realtor by the name of Ryan, and he was horrible. Didn't seem to care, wasn't putting in any effort, and I knew he wasn't the right fit. So, I called the realtor that listed the house we were initially interested in, and right from there everything was perfect. She was always quick to respond, always answered my questions, and did everything she could to help. The house we initially wanted would've been A LOT of work, and instead of just trying to sell it to us, she advised us against it. We set up four viewings that coming weekend, fell in love with one of them, and by that Sunday morning our offer was accepted. She even came over to our place at 10pm to write up a second offer. We had an issue with the bank we were thinking of going through for our mortgage, so she put us in contact with a mortgage broker (Stephanie Gulaga - who is also amazing) and it went so smoothly. We went with a lawyer she strictly works with (Shelley Smith at Venture Law Group, who was also really great), and even when it came to lining up our house insurance she helped with that (my insurance company required photos of the house and Melissa contacted the listing agent so we could go to the house and take care of it). Even now, after we've moved she is helped (the previous owners left a massive pile of garbage and the washer and dryer which they said wouldn't come with the house so we bought a set and now it'll cost more money to get rid of those, and the garbage mountain). I couldn't reccommend Melissa highly enough. We feel that she went above and beyond what we expected, and she made the process of buying our first home as stress free and wonderful as possible. When it's time to sell this house and upgrade, there is no question about whether or not we will hire her.
