A real family doctor, he identified my dad's cancer, and supported him through the acute years of chemo after setting him up with a great oncologist. My dad is stable and healthy a decade later. He also treated my grandma (nonny) and came to the bedside of her hospice room during those last days of her long life, sharing stories, laughing with us. The only downside to Rachel's practice is that her office does not bill insurance plans and she is not a preferred provider on PPO plans and is not on any HMO plans, so she is out of network. However, this is understandable given that dealing with insurance companies is an unpleasant, full-time job. Therefore, her services are expensive, but are worth it, so overall it's a good value. When it comes to your health, it's really worth it. If you just want to take a pill for the rest of your life and are OK with all of the possible side effects, then integrative medicine is probably not for you. They didn't seem in a rush and actually waited for my full answer before speaking again. They shared some insights and what might be affecting my situation. I liked that they didn't claim to have all the answers right away and left room for follow up. It was a solid experience and the people working there gave off a respectful attitude without being too formal.
