If I have issues with my body not performing then I will actually wait until I come back to CO to see her because I trust her that much. A while back I had an issue with my chest that was incredibly painful when I inhaled deeply. I ignored it for a long time hoping it would go away. It felt like there was something in my lungs. I actually got worried and when I finally went in to see her she could see or feel that I had a rib that got out of alignment. She was able to adjust it back into place. I was blown away that such a simple technique could heal my debilitating pain. That day I was Androcles Lion and she removed the thorn from my paw. She did the same thing with my spine as well during a different time. When I leaned back against a hard surface I got shooting pain in my back. She found a vertebrae that was misaligned. She fixed it again with her healing skills. I was and still am so thankful for her. She fixed my body, gave me some stretches to do and told me I didn't need to keep coming in. Wow. She is confident and has a soft yet firm touch. Her knowledge of the skeletal system shows in her ability to heal. I am very lucky to have found her.

I saw her when I was 19 and had barely been in Colorado a year. Originally for acne (which I had already tried all types of creams treatments prescriptions , acutane , almost 12 dermatologists.. even 2 other naturopath / doctors.. and still had acne .. not only did she fix that- and it is amazing skin still / ever since - what is even more impressive is she was able to do naturally and at the source of the problem and taught and demonstrated to me that the skin is largest organ and it acts up if there is something major wrong so it fixed problems I did not know I have when I adjusted diet and other simple things she figured out after looking at everything in my life from the first appointment.. to many to list but one that stood out was overall energy.. I had also been having a cup of coffee in my hand all day I was drinking so much but I quit that cold turkey and actually had more energy and mental clarity... I didn't know I was missing - less ADD .. better sleep .. she really knows what she is doing .. ** the only advice I can say is that the initial appointment might seem daunting because it is long and a lot to fill out and may seem expensive. But in reality it is cheap for what it does so spend it and make sure you tell her EVERYTHING.. and know when your doing that you can trust her and there really are not many others you can trust let alone have assess you the same way.. Dr…read more McCain provided an honest diagnosis and told me he could help me, that his treatment would consist of about 20 +/- sessions, plus nutrition and supplement guidance, and that he firmly believed his treatment would help my feet heal. After the first visit I found that the pain in my feet had already lessened. (!) After the second visit I was both happy (!!), and very sad. I found out that evening I was not in a position to commit to the full course he recommended until some time next year (due to prior financial commitments). But I WILL be back! I am that impressed with the results. As for the doctor himself, he is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he has to offer. It seems he doesn't offer anything but what he believes will be best for the patient, so asking for shortcuts or discounts would be counter-intuitive. He and his assistant made me feel comfortable right away, and even Pam at the front desk went out of her way to make my visit there a good experience. Several months before seeing Dr. McCain, I developed a back injury that landed me in the hospital…read more I have a bulged disk that continued to cause me daily pain and was preventing me from participating in normal activities. My hospital bill was enormous since I was uninsured and I was interested in finding the cheapest solution that would alleviate the daily pain. My parents were hoping that a massage would help. They had purchased me a 1 hour massage at Dr. McCain's office. I decided that I could also ask him for chiropractic help for my back. I had a very expensive MRI at the hospital and had the CD with the images with me. Dr. McCain reviewed the MRI and told me that the MRI was cheap and relatively worthless. He said that he could not continue with me unless I agreed to additional x-rays, paid for out of pocket of course. I told him that last time I was in so much pain that I literally couldn't walk, a chiropractor adjusted me and within a few days I was far better and soon pain free. I was hoping to ask if I could just get an adjustment but I never got the chance to ask because Dr. McCain was immediately aggravated. From that point, I couldn't get a single word in. He wasn't even trying to get me to agree to treatment anymore, he was more interested in making me feel wrong or guilty for even suggesting a cheap quick fix for now. He would say, "Fine, if you want to live the rest of your life in pain..." Or "Well, you should go find a quick fix doctor then." He wasn't interested in providing multiple solutions or a cheaper alternative or suggesting a payment plan or providing me a cash discount or an uninsured discount. Nothing. Not one single concession or alternate to his long term plan. He tried to push me out of his office, not physically, but with his aggressive nature and aggravated tone. The attitude in the waiting area, which he had ushered me out to had become so negative that I actually asked if I should continue with the prepaid massage I had scheduled or if I should just leave. He responded, "Oh, I don't care." If it weren't for my parents' spending money on the massage already, I would have left immediately. My experience with Dr. McCain was horrible. He was highly unprofessional and rigid as well as intimidating. Dr. McCain's entire office is littered with raving testimonials, yet I found his business on yelp "closed." It obviously was not closed. I am willing to bet that he closed the page on yelp so that people couldn't provide negative feedback. I couldn't find one single independent positive review. The only positive reviews I found were on his own clinic site(s).
