Ryan (Dr. Hartle) is now the exception. Going to his practice was a relief! Every person there treated me respectfully. Really, it was more than I expected. I first came to Dr. Hartle after having a painful procedure from another dentist, who then advised me to get a crown from him. I was referred to Dr. Hartle through a friend, and Dr. Hartle not only informed me the crown was unnecessary at this point, but also took care of a filling quickly and painlessly. Dr. Hartle is just is incredibly friendly, more so than any dentist I have had. His assistant Barb was sweet enough I might have mistaken her for my mom; I'd send anyone I knew to him!

I would of given him zero stars if I could have. I was recommended to this oral surgeon by my new…read moredentist and would not recommend him to my worst enemy. This was my first visit with John A. Hlaudy so I thought it would be a consultation for an extraction. I was wrong he looked at my tooth for a second and at the xray for less and said he could remove it that day. I asked him if I would be sedated or what and he said no just novacaine. When I told him I had past bad experiences he said well it's up to you if I don't pull it out today that is just one less tooth I have to pull. So I had a split second to make a decision and I made the wrong one. He gave me 2 shots of novacaine without numbing the gum or the roof of my mouth first and both shots were kind of painful. I guess my old dentist spoiled me as he put numbing solution on a q-tip and numbed where he would be putting the needle in. This dentist's bedside manner was horrible with me. I not only felt like a wimp but that I was bothering him and wasting his time. I would never go back to him and I will mention his behavior when I go to see my dentist. Also the dentist said I might not be able to get an implant as it is near my sinuses but when I mentioned it to John A. Hlaudy you could almost see the dollar signs in his eyes.
