I am here awaiting my first visit with this dr. My appointment is for 12:45 and the time is now 1:06 pm. I was on time. I hear taking off people in distant rooms. I've not seen her yet; i have no idea. All i can say is there are no Doctors in Santa Rosa so i feel like i better keep my mouth shut before i get kicked out of her services... but i was actually really to do paper work which i finished right on time at 12:44. I am a really busy person and out medical system in America is really falling a part. I'm waiting and will continue this review when she finally shows up. She's now 25 minutes late and the receptionist said nothing about her being behind today....(?). Now it's 1:10. Pm. Came out to ask and a lady says can i help you? She's the nurse practitioner and says oh I'm so sorry. I understand this dr also has another business helping people to lose weight. I'm wondering if this is a front for the other business she has to help people lose weight? It's now 1:15 and the dr came out of the other appointment, grabbed my name that was on a sticky note on the door I'm waiting in ( i purposefully left it open after i stepped out to ask what's up with my appointment timing). Jennifer is responsive as a concierge doctor but inexperienced, lacked compassion and empathy to me for a difficult situation. She is not the kind of person you would share difficult things for fear of criticism rather than compassion and understanding. I originally decided to work with her because I've experienced woman doctors are often more understanding, compassionate and often more curious and driven. Once I explained my thinking on what might be involved in a complicated problem and her answer was " that reminds me of medical school". She had no idea about what I thought meant even though it was basic physiology taught in medical school. I don't believe she thinks about underlying mechanisms of a problem and its symptoms but simply follows medical society rules and doesn't understand that often fails a patient. I once explained that I had medicated myself with good reason during COVID and she told me "you are not the kind of patient I want in my practice". I trusted her as I have many PCP's over the years and she threatened me and made me feel awful. That was the last straw. If you are healthy, minor issues and want simple referrals, she will be good. If you need a test, a medication for an infection or complex problem referral, forget it. She has a strong anti-medicine symptom management view. Taking too many medications is not good but don't expect anything except the basic no matter what the problem or suffering. I had a number of phone calls with her about a problem and it always got contentious. I always felt down after most discussions. That's not good. Doctors need to have compassion, avoid contentiousness at almost all cost and have some therapist like characteristics. That's not her. Not even close. If you have a complex problem, don't expect her to look at medical papers or take a serious interest. She is a very basic doctor. I spent 20 years at Kaiser and I would rate her well below any Primary Care I had there. Sorry to sound negative but that was my experience. Concierge doesn't help unless the doctors is a good one with some curiosity and critical thinking and not dogmatic. read more

Dr. Hubert is very UNinterested and actually really made me feel bad about myself. When I tried to talk to her about my inability to loose weight her response was "eat less and exercise more". Unfortunately Dr Hubert was my primary care after my doctor moved. I was unimpressed from the moment I walked through their doors. Unfriendly front office/ MA. Just wanted my copay. Doctor saw me reviewed my paperwork and said "well looks like your healthy, let's order some labs and come back and see me so we can review them". Then she proceeded to put her stethoscope on my chest for a quick second and act like she was listening to something. Mind you I was never even put in a gown . So they made me come back, pay another copay and see her nurse practitioner who was actually nice but also never made me put on a gown. Not a very thorough physical exam in my eyes . read more

She was rude and not helpful. She made me feel horrible for asking for a ear drop refill and lectured me. I'll be looking for a new doctor

Coldest and rudest doctor I have ever encountered. I kept giving her the benefit of my doubt. She cared more about moving on to the next patient, telling me at more than one visit that she had other patients to see and I would have to come back for another visit to discuss other concerns and scheduled me for future appointments. During Covid after I declined to get the vaccine she told me I could die if i didn't. I told her I had a history of bad reactions to many medicines including a flu vaccine and didn't want to risk having a reaction. She told me I couldn't come back in person and would have to have video appointments if I didn't vaccinate. She said I was a risk to her and others. I said this was confusing to me because vaccinated people could still get Covid and also spread it. She didn't have anything to say about that. I regret hanging in there with her so long. Recently, I got a letter from her telling me she was changing to a "concierge practice" and in order to stay as a patient it would cost $3,500. What?! In the last visit, I said I couldn't afford that and asked who can. She replied saying she has patients in mobile homes that could. If she didn't charge that she'd have to close her practice. I should have trusted my instincts from the very first visit when I was new to Medicare, but it was a rather daunting process. The best thing that happened during my few years with her is she referred me to a couple of great specialists. read more

She's my regular doctor. I don't see her for weight loss or anything like that. But I could see how she would be a great doctor for that too. She really listens and does a thorough assessment. She sends me to whatever specialist I need for issues I might have. She is part of a medical group with a large amount of specialist doctors. My husband sees her too. All of his needs are met as well. I'm glad to have a great doctor for our family that listens and takes her time with us. If you have an issue she will address it. Nothing is ever ignored. The only "weight management" Dr Hubert offered me was a liquid meal replacement program - then quickly followed with "but you can't afford it." (I guess because she noticed my second insurance is MediCal.) She made no effort to find out what my current eating habits were, nor to offer any suggestions other than "cut out starchy carbs, salt, and cut out desserts and alcohol." Had she asked, she would have found out that none of those are in my current diet. I felt disrespected and dismissed as not worth working with. I have told my referring MD that I don't think he should refer anyone else to her. read more

Life changing savior! Nothing else worked ! After working out 4 days a week, hiking on the weekends, eating a super healthy diet, no fast food, rarely drinking I could not get off the weight that crept up on me.
