The owner & choreographer Miss India has done AMAZING with my daughter growth. My daughter started off as a Broadway Baby and now she has earned her position on Broadway Competition Team Season 9. As a Broadway Baby Miss India & Miss Dee worked with these young ladies and cared for them as their own. I love the sisterhood that has been formed with all the ladies ranging from 4-18. Miss India believes in hard work, respect, sister hood & good grades. One of the quote my daughter says a lot is " if you miss up you just keep going" my daughter use this quote on a daily. I can see a big change in her confidence and she ALWAYS EXCITED to go to class. This is our 3rd studio and I'm impressed and we are Broadway Parents for life! To add also the communication from MsIndia is AMAZING. The monthly schedule comes out two months at a time and if anything changes which is rare she communicates that as well via email, parents group chat, Broadway App and/or text msg.

I trusted Ms. Tayo and her staff with the development and growth of my daughter as a dancer and a confident young lady. Ms. Tayo had always been approachable and has a big heart for the kids. She's very passionate about the arts and she will push your child to be their best. Over the years I have seen the staff change and maybe even some procedures. In terms of dance, her technique in modern, ballet, lyrical, and contemporary (her favorite genres) have drastically improved throughout the years. She was invited to attend a well-known performing arts high school in Atlanta and has continued her studies with Ms. Tayo while completing her first college degree. Ms. Tayo also helped my daughter boost her confidence level in terms of performing as well as in her personal and academic endeavors. Ms. Tayo has always made myself and my daughter feel like family, so much so that as a college student she and some of Ms. Tayo's former students who are now adults continue to frequent the school to assist Ms. Tayo with the younger students. The friendships she gained while participating in Ms. Tayo's program are unbreakable and it is a joy to see the students maintaining their relationship in their blossoming adult lives. My daughter has traveled with Ms. Tayo in dance competitions and a variety of other shows and had the pleasure of earning her first paycheck as a dancer when she assisted Ms. Tayo and her very talented band. It is unfortunate that the parent in a prior review had such a negative experience with Ms. Tayo's program. She works very hard to offer students on the southside of Atlanta opportunities to strengthen their performing arts skills that would otherwise not be afforded to them. The lighting in the back of the venue was horrible and the seat attendants had a difficult time helping you find your seat assignment, they need to do better. There is ample parking, including handicapped and check-in at the entrance was quick with no line and no waiting. I was there for the Dermatology Clinic and upon arrival, again I encountered no line and immediately checked in. I waited less than 3 minutes before I was called back for my appointment. My appointment was set for 10:30 and at 10:29 I was seen. I was seen my two physicians, a Dermatology Resident and an Internal Medicine doctor. I was examined, treated and done within 30 minutes. I didnt…read moreknow if i was an actor before i met him. after i got up in front of the class and did my first scene ever he looked at me and said "youre an actor" that was 5 years ago and he is still someone i know i can call if i ever need help with an audition or anything acting or non-acting related. He is an amazing actor himself and knows the work inside and out. He will push you, make you mad at times, make you cry, but he will always make you laugh. He is not the "guru" type that makes class about him. it is always about the work and the students. He doesnt embarrass you or make you feel small. He makes you feel like youre 10 feet tall and can do anything and will guide you in a way that you respond to. He practices mindfulness in class and we used to always start the session with a group meditation and to say our name and why we were there. Its a way to be clear with you and everyone else what your intentions are. Ive never done that in any other class. Its powerful. He will never ask you to do something he wouldnt do himself. His studio is a safe haven for artists to come and work and fail and fail better than the last time. I was in his master class for a year and it was a little family that cared for one another and we always pushed eachother to work and hard feel safe to try new things. Last Friday I had opportunity to hire Berdole for a major donor event. The theme was ¡Unidad! and…read moreour featured poet for the event was Richard Blanco. During the planning process of this event, I searched far and wide for entertainment that would not only make the event memorable for the attendees but would also be reasonable in price without cutting into our fundraising budget and goal. A few days of asking around and calling various bands one of my lovely coworkers told me she knew the perfect person to call. I was given Julie's name and number and called immediately as the event was only two weeks away. Yes cutting it close, yet I knew we would be fine. Julie and I worked together to create a plan to have the guitarist play for the reception which was 6:00 - 7:20PM and prior to the dinner program which was from 7:20 - 7:50PM. When guest came from the reception on level 10 and got off the elevators on level 3 they were pleasantly surprised to see 2 flamenco dancers, a singer and the guitarist. They each brought a beautiful element to the event and evening making it a night to remember.
