I bought a 2014 Chevy Cruze from this used car lot. Yes, I now know, my first problem was buying a Chevy Cruze. I bought the car on March 13th. I drove it home and parked it. I had to wait until payday March 20th to finish getting it legal to drive in Missouri. I then waited until my brother could come and check the fluids and show me how to check on newer vehicles. Im used to older cars, before this the newest car I drove was a 2000 Buick century. Before that, an 89 Chevy celebrity station wagon. He told me I just needed some orange coolant, the reservoir was empty. I had to wait until Monday March 23 to buy coolant. I filled it to the fill line. We noticed some weird stuff floating and my brother guessed someone had used something to help stop leaks. I work overnights and I later drove it to work that night. My Buick has issues and it has trained me to drive at low RPM between 45mph and 50mph. I know what's wrong with it, Buick is not worth fixing, that's why I bought the Chevy Cruze. Low and behold I now drive like an old blind lady thanks to the Buick. I drove the car March 23 - 26. It drove beautifully. I was happy. I was feeling like I had my freedom back. No more home and work driving only. The next few days I had a concert with a friend in Kansas City and the car remained parked until I got back home and had to go back to work. Drove it from March 29th to the evening of March 31st. Check engine light came on while driving to work. Had to wait until morning at end of shift to look at car. Discovered oil in the coolant. I've done research on Chevy Cruze cars and it's either a cracked head gasket or something I can't remember because it's too early but it's something to do with a seal and is #1 issue with the Chevy Cruze cars. My brother put it on a trailer and it's currently waiting in line at his house to be fixed. Upon further inspection the car had been in a front end collision, my brother was pulling the broken pieces of the old headlight assembly out of engine bay and it's missing numerous clips and bolts on the front bumper and fenders. I spent $3400 on the car. I tried to call the owner but he was very professional and rude at the same time. I had written a Google review and he was upset over my "bad" review. I gave him 3 stars and only stated the facts. He told me he doesn't sell broken vehicles and that I bought the car as is. I just feel like it should have lasted more than 160 miles. read more

I was Buying a Town and Country Van with the 3.8 and I'm still paying for it when the head gasket went out and I found a 3.8 motor at Buddy's pick and pull ask for them to help me with Buying it and adding it to the price of the van. The price was $898+$55 core He keeps saying call me tomorrow. The last thing I ask was then can you find me a motor if you think the one that I found was to high and I'm still paying for a non running Van. I just want them to get me the 3.8 motor for a 08 it has to be an 08 I'm sure the one I found at Buddy's is gone by now. To me all they want is your money and if your Automobile dies before you get it paid off they don't care just pay us. read more

STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS YOU CAN!!!!!!!!!!! I thought i was making a good trade on the 25th of March when i took my 03 Taurus up there that had under 124,000 miles on it to look at a 03 Windstar van with significantly more mileage on it (over 190,000 miles), boy i could not have been more wrong. i talked to someone about it the night before via FB messenger asking if it had any mechanical issues and they told me no. i drove up there the morning of the 25th with my fiancée to test drive the van, the older guy (i believe his name was Brad Jennings) was not very friendly when i came into the office and i explained why i was there and he first tried to offer me only $1800 for my taurus which i then provided him with the receipt that i had from the car lot where i had gotten it back in September of last year i paid $2977.27 after the fee for using my bank card anyways i told him no and i test drove the Windstar when i took off it made a slight clunk i figured it was just from it sitting i brought it back and told the person about it he just shrugged it off. he gave me $20 to put in the tank and i drove it to the gas station and back to the lot and when i came back in he had taken it upon himself to start filling out the back of the title to my Taurus. i had not even decided at that time if i was wanting to trade or not but i felt like at that point i was being forced into doing. he rushed me through the entire time i was cleaning out my Taurus i was visually upset throughout this entire process i was literally in tears when i was cleaning out the car. he took it upon himself to take my tags off after i clearly stated i would do it and put them on the van AFTER i told him NOT to and then stood outside the car door on the driver's side as i was still cleaning it out with his hand out saying "key" rather hateful. on the way home to Springfield the van did nothing but shook if i went over 60 mph, i was lucky to make it home. i reached out a few days later and they had already sold the Taurus supposedly and the old guy that i dealt with was rude to me yet again on the phone ( i have 3 people that heard the conversation that can verify this) the van STILL clunks upon taking off from a complete stop and when i shift into any gear. the gauges in the dash go haywire from time to time ( i expressed my concern about that after test driving it and the old guy again blew it off) i don't see how this place gets away with selling cars like this to people and taking advantage of people knowing they have no other form of transportation. this place needs to have their dealers license taken for this. they could at least offer to make it right or reimburse people for the cost of getting their only form of transportation fixed so it runs safely but good luck on that happening. i now have to put it into the shop and have transmission work done which i was informed that the van had these issues upon getting it and the car lot LIED to me about it. maybe they should learn better business practices, NOT sell people vehicles that are about to fall apart and make it right on the vehicles they do sell that knowingly have serious mechanical issues read more
