Dr. Jenny Tan is great! She's knowledgeable , down to earth, and honest. That's what I need in a doctor . I'm not sure what all those other bad reviews are about - but my experience with her was very pleasant. My visit didn't feel rushed. She took her time to explain things to me, and i felt safe to share certain things with her. We even laughed a few times. I'm glad I chose her as my primary care physician. I am very selective in choosing a doctor so she is just what i was looking for - someone I can trust! read more

Dr. Tan's approach as a medical professional leaves much to be desired. Throughout my interactions with her, I found her to be desensitized and largely indifferent to my needs. Which, I did tell her during my office visit today; that there was no support from her. Her lack of empathy and understanding made it difficult to feel comfortable or cared for under her supervision. I would not recommend Dr. Tan as a primary care provider or even one doctor visit for anyone seeking a compassionate and attentive doctor. I will be seeking a new PCP and not under Memorial Care as well. read more

I am looking for a new pcp and chose Dr Tan hoping she would provide quality, kind, care. I was wrong. She was more concerned with scolding me than hearing what I needed. Honestly, I really wanted to like her. She was my primary care for several years and I have to say her bedside manner is horrible. Very condescending and flat out rude sometimes. She basically said that everything I was experiencing was "due to anxiety and being overweight" which turns out wasn't the case. I really wanted a good primary care and I just chocked up her bedside manner to her being "strict" but now that I've had a good primary care for a while I realize she was just rude and wasn't taking me seriously because I experienced anxiety. read more

Dr. Tan is knowledgeable, has good bedside manners, and comes up with options of treatment that address my concerns and symptoms. I asked my questions and never felt rushed when I saw her. Whether I saw her in-person or via telehealth visits, she showed up within reasonable time close to my scheduled appointment. Would recommend. read more

Dr. Tan has been my primary physician for 2 1/2 years now. Whenever I need to make an appt it's very easy to do through the mychart app on my cellphone. I m able to set an appt that works with my schedule and I never have to wait around when my appt time comes. Doctor Tan is exceptionally quick with responding to any tests or labs that I have had done, and the great part is I m able to read her responses from the mychart app. I feel very comfortable talking with her and will be a patient of hers as long as I live in the area read more

Literally don't want to give any stars. Wouldn't recommend her at all since she doesn't care too sh*** about your concerns. Judges you on what insurance coverage you have and also later you're going to see you were billed $$$$ just for a normal checkup visit. The charges are so bs just for a normal checkup and it's literally fraud. Seriously don't even bother if you want to just go in to get shut down with your concerns. No idea even why she is a medical profession when she doesn't even help you out with any concerns you may have. Like the other reviews mentioned on her being cold is very true. Out of all the doctor visits i had, she truly was the worse i've ever experienced. So don't even bother if you have any concerns with your health. MemorialCare Anaheim is a cheat clinic. I had the worst experience going to memorial Healthcare. This will be my last time at this place. I went in for my annual check up and told the receptionist specifically that this is my first time at memorial and I am here for my physical. The Dr Jenny Tan was my physician, a very cold and uncompassionate physician. She asked me if I had any ailments and I told her that other than the back pain I have no severe ailments. She referred me to a physiotherapy check. She asked for no blood work to be performed and no physical check. I made sure before leaving to ask that why my blood work is not being requested since this is a physical and Dr Jenny just stood there not even caring. THE WORST BEHAVIOR THAT I HAVE SEEN EVER BY A PHYSICIAN!!! To top that off 1 week later I get a letter asking for copayment from MemorialCare saying that my visit was not a physical but a regular check up. This is ridiculous!!! I called the office after that, no one picked up. Called their billing department and lodged a complain. The lady who I spoke with, said that this inquiry will take 2 days at max to decide and I should hear back from one of their team after that. It have been 2 weeks now and still no news. Like I said this place is a scam. They let people into believing that they are in for a physical but instead charge them. Almost two years ago, my primary doctor passed away. After that I was taken on by another doctor that was absolutely horrible! He made me feel like I was being dramatic, and did not listen to my concerns. Finally, after two years of not seeing any doctors and a lot of begging from my family, I finally looked for another primary physician. Doctor, Jenny Tan. I feel so happy to have found her and her team! Every single person I interacted with, was super pleasant! Doctor Tan listen to my every concern and NEVER made me feel inferior, a feeling I had experienced from the previous doctor I had. I was very hopeful sending my 20 y/o kiddo here. I personally work in the medical field and usually try to do more holistic approach (due to the most MD's wanting to treat with rx meds and when not able to really try to find a solution in healing patients)\ so when my kiddo wanted to take action on her own medical journey for her life I had helped her in choosing a PCP. We read Dr. Tan's profile quote and what stood out to me was that she believes strongly in educating patients to prevent problems before they start and working together to make the best decisions for thir personal medical care. My child had visited an urgent care and received her diagnosis and wanted to pick a PCP so she can follow up and get more educated on her diagnosis that unfortunately will most likely occur again. She was excited to finally have her appt with a chosen MD based on the MD's profile statements. Dr. Tan made her feel like she was wasting her time since she had already received a dx from urgent care. The point is this is a young adult trying to get on a routine of taking care of herself and instead of providing education on the dx and giving her comforting compassionate bedside manner She was made to feel like she was not important and basically there is nothing she can do to help. Bottom line she does not want to return here so we are in the hunt again for a PCP:/ read more

I was there to see Dr.Tan for a routine check up cuz her office is so close to me. Wow! Did I get blown away by the friendly staff there, super clean office, and everything else. Dr.Tan was so sweet and I learned so much from her within that 20 min we met. She also saved me another appointment by treating me right on site. I also got my blood work done in the same office within 2 min after I have seen her. I mean, wow!! I've never got this kind of awesome experience from a Dr's office before. read more

Update: I'm scheduled for surgery to remove a large mass that Dr. Tan could/should have investigated based on the symptoms I shared with her but she ignored. Thankfully my new doctors pushed things along to take care of me as quickly as possible. I see the business office manager only comments on positive posts and doesn't acknowledge complaints/issues. read more

Jenny Tan is one of the best doctors I've seen. She is VERY thorough and actually cares about her patients. Figuring out what is wrong with her patients is like a puzzle. She HAS to figure it out. The only con about her: she talks fast and I have to catch up. But I COMPLETELY understand that. Her brain works faster than the way she talks. I'm the same way when explaining computer issues to people, so I get it. She also speaks fluent English!!! I highly recommend her!!! read more

This was the WORST doctor visit I have ever experienced. And I did not even see a doctor. I am a NEW patient and I wanted 3 weeks for an appointment. I recently moved to a new location and I have been in desperate need to see a doctor. I was 30 minutes late to my appointment that was at 3:30 on Friday December 1st. The only reason I was late because the address on this Yelp page is INCORRECT. I went to the WRONG location. Once I finally arrived to the office. The receptionist told the DR. that I had arrived and was late because I was LOST. (Yes, I was lost because your page has the INCORRECT address listed.) The Dr. had the receptionist tell me to write down the reasons for my visit on a piece of paper to protect my confidentiality.....once I walked away she announced my reasons to the DR. out loud over the phone. (not sure what the reasons was to write down my issues if she was just going to announce them out loud anyways.....kinda pointless.) After, the receptionist told the Dr. my reasons for my visit shes asked me to choose ONE issue that is the most important. This was completely ridiculous. I can't believe a Dr. would only speak to a patient about one issue. i was left to feel like I was an inconvenience to the doctor and they told me to reschedule. Let me admit that one of my reasons for my visit was chronic anxiety attacks. I left that Dr. office and had a panic attack in the parking lot. All I wanted was to see a doctor and get some help for my attacks. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this office and I do not recommend them for lack of professionalism. read more
