They also tried to tidy up and treat the broken branch the best they could to prevent the tree from dying off. They cleaned up all of the branches and left our yard looking great! He was prompt with the quote and quick to start the job, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was frustrating. After taking down the trees, Matt told me he did not want to rent a stump grinder and planned to buy one instead. I paid him cash up front for the full job and was very patient when this delayed things for almost a month. When he finally did come back out with a rented grinder, the stump grinding was done so poorly that now I have to pay other companies to fix it properly. Every reputable company that has come to quote the rework has been confused by how badly the stumps were handled. One area is still so visible that it has delayed finishing my driveway and growing new grass. When I shared my concerns, Matt told me he would lose money if he came back and became defensive and unprofessional, saying he should never have quoted me the price he did, which is not my fault. He did come out a second time, but the issue is still there and you can see the tree roots as well as a stump rotting out that is well above ground. In the end, the "discount" has cost me far more money, stress, and time than if I had hired someone else the first time. While a great price, I would not recommend them.

He worked hard and quick and was great with cleaning up and hauling everything away. I was impressed! My yard, cement and sidewalk look so nice now. Recently, I had them take down a few oak trees when it was bitterly cold out. They asked me how low I wanted them cut, and at the time, I wanted to leave some taller "snags" for critters. A month later, I changed my mind and wanted the stumps cut much lower. My neighbor hired them, so I texted them to see if they could pop over and cut mine lower while they were next door. "Yes", they said, and they didn't even charge me! They also cut the huge trunks into smaller, manageable pieces and even stacked them! Friendly crew, very good equipment, and always willing to help!
