At the the first place I went to it was so darn painful it made me nervous about having that done again. At KCS&C restored my faith again. Dr Megan Newland is my Dr but I had a spot that needed attention so I saw Dr Austin so I could see someone asap. He did my biopsy SO well. I'm not nervous about having things done anymore. I would recommend this place to anyone. This is the place. Any Dr I've seen here I'm so pleased with.

She's like, "you don't use a tanning booth and don't have anything worrisome? Why are you here?" Um. You know, to not get skin cancer and to do preventative care! It was the opposite here where my appointment ran smoothly while also taking any other questions I had. So if she's accepting new patients (no guarantee), I'd highly recommend Dr. Horner. She knows what she's doing and is overall top-notch.

Every question I had she answered directly and did not hummmhawww like some Derms I have been too. She will point you in the right direction and give you her opinion on what you should do. She will also tell you if she feels comfortable or not removing a mole or doing a certain procedure. The parking garage is a pain in the butt, no one can park between the lines. If you drive a larger vehicle you should just head right up to floor 6/7. This is considered plaza 1 but its in building 3. The nurses were all very friendly and communicative. I have another appointment in May. She is part of St, Lukes Medical Services.

Just a couple of days later, before I even had time to call them, they called me and informed me they had had a couple of cancellations, and asked me if I would like to come in for my appointment. What a blessing! I was offered two different appointments with Dr. Rupp. I chose the afternoon appointment. I went a little bit early, as instructed, to fill out the paperwork, since I was a new patient. It was very straightforward and simple. I got right in within a few minutes, the nurse went over my medications and asked what questions I had for the doctor, and then just a couple of minutes later he came in to do my examination. He was very thorough, and answered all my questions. I was in and out of the office in 30 to 40 minutes with a new appointment for next year. If only all doctors and medical offices ran their operations this smoothly! What a dream that would be. Everyone I encountered was very professional and courteous, not to mention happy. That starts at the top. Dr. Rupp has a wonderful countenance and an incredible attitude. Clearly it has rubbed off on his staff. I am very pleased to recommend this office. My wife will be seeing a PA here for her dermatology needs as well.

I was involved in a rollover accident in 2004 and my fingers were busted I was in Research Medical…read morecenter Kansas City in Kansas City Missouri for a few weeks Dr McClung was scheduled to do a skin graft on me and was supposed to arrive at 1: 30pm...he arrived between 8:30 and 9: 00pm He was tired and agitated and was short with me I told him all my family had gone home due to the long wait and I didn't feel comfortable going under Anesthesia with no family around and could he reschedule me. He told me no he had other appointments either I wanted to do it or I didn't.... Reluctantly I did scared if I didn't my fingers would set that way forever Of course my fingers were in bandages for a little while... When it was time for the reveal I was very excited.... When he took the bandages off lo and behold I was stuck with the same hand anyway... just with some grafted skin over it... I didn't have the information then that I have now... My finger should have been shaving down first... Him being a surgeon knew that and didn't inform me and just made a few bucks off of me...I still can't make a fist I just have a Hideous Hand. He was rushing he was tired he was not compassionate,I can tell that when I look at my hand. I'd ask my primary doctor at one time for a referral to try to get my hand fixed and unknowingly she referred me to Dr.McClung... Now I'm on a fixed income due to health reasons through the years and I'm just stuck like this.... Here it is almost 20 years later and I'm still hiding my hands because I hate when people stare at it

I got a gastric bypass from Dr. Hamilton on 8/22/22 and two this day. My stomach has never been…read moreright. They did not tell me first of all that I would not be able to metabolize a medication I was taking and I would almost die of an overdose. Then I had a staple found in my stomach and an endoscopy that they did. And they charged me for it. Finally, my stomach has never been the same. I have so much more acid, difficulty digesting, constantly feeling nauseous after I eat. Just a lot of different complications. I do take licorice root of all things and this does help my stomach some. Plus, I have medication for nausea now. But it's not fun going through pain every single day after you eat no matter how much you eat. I even had trouble taking pills now. I would not recommend these people. I think this is a chop shop to tell you the truth. They do more procedures at this office than any other office in the United States. What should that tell you? I figured they know what they were doing, but I think I was wrong.

Let me preface my comments here with the fact that I think gastric bypass surgery was the best…read morething that ever happened to me -- I just wish I'd known from the beginning that this was a Lot more complicated than they Ever told me. I had gastric bypass surgery in February of 2013. At the age of 48. When I originally started the process I was 5'2 and 346#. At the time of surgery I was about 20# less. Dr Hoen is an excellent surgeon, an his team is great as well. I will say the appt scheduling, front desk staff and billing staff are less than exceptional. At that time the did have the seminars - and they made the whole process sound painless and either glossed over or skipped completely the less savory parts. I remember being told the process would eliminate things like gremlin - that hunger pangs would go away forever. This might be the case during the honeymoon period but they do return long term. I after a few follow up surgeries- hernia, strictures, etc I did reach a low of about 150, the goal originally set. At that time I was ready for a pannicolectomy - during the seminar they promised they would have a surgeon on staff to do such surgeries-- they did not. Instead I went to a plastic surgeon and had an "outpatient procedure." The evening after I developed a hemorrhage and was back in the hospital on life support. After this I was in the hospital for a week and in rehab for 6 weeks. Right after I has recovered from that I had another hernia operation, which one of the bariatric surgeons did "open surgery" which completely destroyed my newly rebuilt belly button. Not long after that I had another hernia surgery by the same bariatric doctor, where he repaired the hernia an the placed a mesh patch over it. During all of this I experienced the same compassionate care from the surgeons and their support staff, and the same frustrating front desk indifference. After all this, I was down to 135 and looked like I was on the verge of death. People would come up to me in public and off to "help" me because they thought I looked too weak to manage on my own. I have in last couple of years regained some weight and am currently trying to lose it again.
