The staff was absolutely darling with us, they taught us how to brush the horses before riding, how to clean their hooves and place the saddle ourselves. I really like this because they got us involved in every aspect of the horses, not just the riding. They then had us practice before the trail so we got used to our horses and their personalities and finally we went on an hour and a half trail ride which was absolutely beautiful and serene. At the end of the ride, they were kind enough to take some beautiful pictures of us. She was so welcoming and kind that we decided to reach out and book a lesson. That's when we connected with Adrienne, and our first impression of Elysian was confirmed: this is a beautiful clean show barn that truly respects the sport and, most importantly, the horses and ponies. Adrienne was punctual, patient, encouraging, and incredibly positive with my daughter from the very beginning. She is extremely knowledgeable and has such a kind and thoughtful way of teaching. She has already helped my daughter improve her technique while making every lesson enjoyable and confidence-building. Everyone we have met at Elysian has been so friendly, dedicated, and passionate about what they do. With a very warm and no-pressure approach and years of experience, Matt helps the kids become great, responsible riders that take good care of their horses.
