Going to Flexogenix was one of the best things I ever did for myself. I would land wrong sometimes and - OWWW!! I was thinking that maybe there was not much skiing in my future if at all, and the idea of walking a golf course seemed daunting indeed. Then I heard about Flexogenix. They examined my knees, did ultrasound and x-rays and diagnosed "moderate to severe" arthritis. They offered a treatment called Lipogems, where they extract stem cells from your love handles and inject them into the knees. I had both of them done, and while my knees felt like cement for a few days afterwards, 5 months later I was at Beaver Creek, and I hardly noticed them while skiing. As for my knees overall, the clock has been turned back by 15 years. If you have arthritis in your knees and you still have a little cartilage left, don't wait for knee replacement - go here first.

I've seen Dr. Watterson for everything from a torn plantar fascia to insomnia, and everything in between. Dr. Watterson is a certified acupuncturist, chiropractor, yoga instructor, and (I think) physical therapist and has helped me train for several marathons, overcome multiple injuries, and address some insomnia/anxiety issues I've had over the past year. Whether you need acupuncture, dry needling, cupping, an adjustment, pointers on your running form, or advice on nutrition and core stability give Charlotte Sports Performance and Rehab a try! Dr. Watterson is so fabulous that she treats everyone from amateurs like me to Panthers players (I can't say who, but you'll figure it out if you visit her office) and other professional athletes. In addition to being a stellar doctor, Laura (and her whole team) is a genuinely kind person who will do her best to help you train through an injury and be in top shape to achieve whatever it is you hope to achieve!

Suddenly and without warning, multiple time's a week I would get dizzy, be unable to stand, and my eyes would involuntarily move side to side with a condition called nystagmus. For years I went to multiple specialists including ENT and neurologists without any success. Then I met Laura and my luck completely changed. I had an initial assessment where she reviewed my condition. She immediately could describe the underlying causes and the treatment. I had one treatment and I couldn't believe it but I was cured. My neck muscles released, I gained mobility and my symptoms were gone. It has been years and I have never had any symptoms of dizziness. I have continued to get treatments for other conditions/injuries I have sustained since I met her. I even signed up for online yoga with her. I was very challenging and she was able to describe the postures and make small adjustments to my practice. She is an amazing doctor. For anyone with any dizziness or whiplash injuries I would highly recommend her. I'm glad I met Laura. And you will be too!
