Never received my order. Ordered through the Jersey Mike's app. Called the store and was told they could not send out our order again or refund our food. They told us that we had to contact DoorDash. I did not order through them I ordered through the stores app. Why would you put this burden on your customers? The guy on the phone at the store was rude and refused to refund my order. I called DoorDash and they told me to contact the store and the corporate number also said to call the store for a refund. So now it looks like I'm out my money and no food to show for it. I'll order from Jimmy John's next time and save all the hassle. read more

Second time now I've order through the JM app and didn't receive the extra cheese I ordered. I won't be using the app to order ahead any more. But this goes go the heart of the problem with the Jersey Mike franchise - you're paying a premium price for a sub that uses paper thin slices of meat and cheese. The subs are good - the quality is good, but it just comes up lacking because they're looking to squeeze every last nickel out of the consumer. You want a real sub - you have to pay extra and hope they actually include it on your order. I feel for the franchise owners who have to tow the line, but next time I'll just make my own darn sandwich. read more

As far as sub sandwiches go, I am happiest with Jersey Mike's. They taste better than Subway and Potbelly's to me. This location is closest to my house. I typically get the turkey and provolone Mike's way with mayo and I enjoy it. I was able to use a buy one regular get one coupon sent to my office. In general, the staff are friendly there. I went around noon today and the young lady slicing the meat and taking the initial order wasn't as kind and could've said something like"we'll be right with you" as we waited in line, but the lady expediting was friendly. My son and daughter also got a sandwich each including a BLT and turkey and provolone. For a quick grab sandwich and break from most fast food places, it's a good place to stop in Fort Gratiot, especially if we are going for a ride up Lakeshore or to Walmart to shop. I like the root beer, not the cream soda as much. read more

My daughter treated me to a Jersey Mike's sub after an afternoon of shopping. When I say "treated" I mean it was a real treat for me. I ordered the club sub, and was pleasantly surprised to watch the gentleman behind the counter slice the meat and cheese for my sandwich while I was standing there. Ham, turkey, bacon, provolone cheese, fresh veggies and mayo on perfect fresh bread, it doesn't get any better than that. I could only eat half of the regular size sub, that's how loaded it was. Read in the paper they had just opened up (day before our visit). Had a hot sub, Cheese Steak, and it was very good. Meat prepared well, had a "thicker" sauce/gravy/au jous. Bun was tasty and not overly thick, although, IMO, it could be a little thicker on the bottom as before I could finish the sandwich it was getting saturated. I would go back tomorrow to try a "cold sub" (as my wife enjoyed her multiple tastes and is thinking of getting a Cheese Steak for her lunch tomorrow. Place was hoppin', albeit we were in there 12:30-ish. Serving line was a bit slow, but I'll cut the staff some slack -- they were friendly, well attended, and still trying to get into a routine, as one would expect as the shop has just opened. Pricing seems competitve (as expected), $9.05 for a regular Cheese Steak and chips (no drink). There are two sizes, "Regular" and "Gigantic", or 1/2-loaf and full loaf. 1/2 loaf was more than filling for me for lunch. read more

Really wanted 2 love this place, and I did until I bit into 2 pieces of something semi hard in my philly cheese steak sub then i had enough, I couldnt even tell what it is I bit into and that just gross me out, wasnt bone (cartilage maybe?)My husband ordered the italian which he absolutely loved, i tried a bite and it was really good. They even made a custom sub for my son who has sensory processing disorder and will only eats certain foods and my son loved it. Not sure if I would order from there again not for myself anyways. read more

We had Jersey Mike's in Fort Gratiot cater our daughter's grad party this weekend. Nick assisted us with choosing the best combination of subs and delivered them for us right before the party started so they were super fresh. I was really impressed with the array of condiments and pickles and peppers that were included. Each individual sub was perfect- there were no gross lettuce pieces or squishy tomatoes- and they were all wrapped and placed in the boxes really nicely so they presented really well on the table. They were a huge hit- we thought we would have tons of leftovers but everyone had seconds and thirds. These catering boxes were way nicer than any Jimmy John's tray I have ever seen (and that was what I had planned to order so I am really happy I got overruled on that decision!) I would recommend this place to cater any large gathering. Nick was professional, super helpful and paid amazing attention to detail.
