Wow, the servers here are so upbeat. Ordered a 14" Club Sub. Toppings are freshly sliced and bacon is nice and crispy, nice full slices not paper thin like subway. I had the cheese bread which was heavy enough to hold all the toppings but not overly heavy so as to be too filling. Omg. I've had Jersey mikes for the first time in USA and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. I was welcomed in the second I walked thru the door by the wonderfully friendly staff. There were only two men in front of me but the service was super quick and thorough. I ordered a medium classic Italian and the bread was sliced fresh, the cheese and meat are also sliced to order. It's very hard to find something wrong with a fresh deli meat sandwich with fresh toppings and oil and vinegar. 10/10 wouldn't change a thing. Freshest sub you will find. read more

After spending hours at Fairview Park Mall, I was ready to head back to my hotel room. However, I needed to grab some dinner and didn't feel like getting something from the food court. I did a quick search of nearby places and found Jersey Mike's Subs. Perfect! This store is just a quick drive away. I pulled into a prime parking spot directly in front of the door and walked in. It was fairly busy at around 5 pm. I decided to get number 9 on the menu. It's the club supreme sub, which contains Swiss cheese, roast beef, turkey, Applewood smoked bacon, and mayo. If you get it Mike's Way, it means that you get onions, lettuce, tomatoes, vinegar, oil, and spices. I went with Mike's Way, but without onions. I got a regular, which is the perfect meal size. You can also go giant if you are incredibly hungry or want to have another meal the following day. I also got my sub on whole wheat bread. I also signed up for Shore Points. You can end up with a free sub. It's free and you sign up with your phone number. I got back to my hotel and took my first bite of my club supreme. Oh, my goodness. It is crazy delicious! It reminded me of eating at a similar sub place in New Jersey years ago, but this one tastes much better. The ingredients were fresh (meats are sliced right in front of you) and the bread was perfect. During this visit, I was asked by one of the employees whether I would drink a fountain drink without a lid. I said yes. He was so happy, as I had completely sided with him and not his colleague. It's true. If I were thirsty, the lid isn't important to me. I want the beverage. I went back a couple of days later and ordered a regular meatball and cheese sub. You get melted mozzarella, tomato sauce, and parmesan cheese on top of the meatballs. The sub is toasty hot. Verdict? This sub was yummy. It is one of the best meatball subs that I have had in ages. It was flavourful and perfect. I'm a fan. I want to visit one last time before I head back home. This franchise is only in Kitchener and London. I am glad that I found this place. I wish it were closer to home, but I'd be happy to swing by when I am in the area. (253) read more

Wow what a sub. I drove all the way from Toronto because I heard there's a Jersey Mikes in Kitchener and it was worth the 1 hr drive. The service from the nice people at the counter to amazing sub made it well worth it. I had the original Italian everything was fresh and tasted so good as a treat I got a cookie and it was soooo good aswell! Unfortunately this is the second time i've had an extremely horrible experience at this location! I truly believe that the staff at this location are extremely racist. How is it that the staff provide great customer service to the customers ahead of us, but as soon as they see people of color, their attitude completely changes. And this is the second time that this has happened. They're rude and their service is awful. It's very disappointing to see that there are still people that are so disrespectful towards people of color, especially when they are working in customer service. I will for sure not being going back to this location, because of their awful service. Do not recommend at all!!!!!!!! Extremely horrible. read more

I remember seeing Jersey Mike's on the Food Network and searched it up only to find that there's a location very close to where I live! Both times I visited the restaurant I have had outstanding experiences!! If I could give them 6 stars, I would! The subs are really great. I always get a hot sub but ask for it prepared Mike's way which means with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, red wine vinegar, an oil mix, and an herb blend. The combination of red wine vinegar and the oregano is AMAZING!! Jersey Mike's is by far the best place to get subs. The menu is a little strange as the numbers appear to be somewhat random and out of order, but I'm sure there's a reason for that. Outside of the food, the service is unmatched!! Tried Jersey Mike's for the first time after a friend had been raving about it for a while! I went for a "Giant" Original Italian (done Mike's way) on white bread. Overall EXCELLENT sub! The chilli paste is a great addition through "Mike's way" snd the giant portion size is perfect for some of us who can consume more than the average person in a single sitting. The only issue I had was that the bread could have been fresher. Overall, amazing experience and I am quite jealous and curious why Kitchener got the first location in Canada. read more

When I feel like original Italian sub this is definitely my go-to place. If you want to experience a true original Classic Italian Sub then you have to go and try the gigantic original Italian done Mike's way. This sub is huge will definitely feed two people. The oil and raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing on it absolutely makes the sub. I personally always ask for extra raspberry vinaigrette on it. All the cool cuts are fresh deli sliced right in front of you as well as the cheese is fresh deli sliced right in front of you. This is truly a fresh deli Maine Sub. I left a review for this place when it opened on Facebook. I raved about it. I was a big fan of the American locations and as expected the product was a little smaller here. The freshness can't really be topped though. Their product WAS incredible. After about a year of not being in the area, I went out of my way to get it "Mike's Way". The portions are half what they were a year ago, the bread was dry and it was just another sub. I'm very disappointed with how things have changed here. Jersey Mikes has the best cold subs going. Firehouse across the street has the bast hot subs. Happy we have locations of both chains in Canada (unfortunately Jersey Mike's has only this one location so far). Whichever cold sub you order, get it dressed Mike's way- olive oil, vinegar, lettuce, tomato, onion & spices. I also add mayo. Meats & cheeses are sliced to order before your eyes. The service at this location was UBER friendly- an added bonus. This place knows what a cold sub should be & they can't be beat. read more

First time in I tried one of the Hot subs. I have to say it wasn't the best I've had but seeing the cold cut subs being made I had to come back. The cold cut subs is where it's at! They have the market cornered when it comes to great tasting FRESH subs. Been 3 times now and plan to continue. As you wait in line they take your order, then the show begins. Meat and cheese get tossed through the air and sent to the slicing stations. Fresh sliced cheese! at a fast food place? Then if you "Mike it up" they smother your sub in oil, vinegar and spices, along with lettuce onion and tomatoes. Yum Yum! I can see this being good if you eat meat. Deli style counter where they cut your meats on the spot. But as a vegetarian, I can honestly say it may have been the worst veggie sub I've ever had. It's was bland and the bun was really soggy. I had 3 bites and threw it out. There was no "zing" from the "juice". Where to start..... upbeat staff, they love what they are doing and it shows. They slice the meat right in front of you for every single sandwich. I had the #9 regular Club supreme roast beef, turkey , crispy bacon and loaded up with all of the toppings, my g/f had the #6 roast beef provolone. Their roast beef is cooked on site and let tell ya done perfectly, they also add a red wine vinegar and olive type of dressing which is very good ( And that also explain why some genius commented that they take their sub to go home and complain that it was soggy.....yeah the lights are on , but there is nobody home!! ). I recommend getting it "mike's way" if you are a first time customer but, I have been there several times and still get my sub "mike's way" because the toppings included make the sandwich feel gourmet. The service is good but I've experienced having improper ingredients on my sub. The staff are consistently welcoming and pleasant. Providing an adequate environment to enjoy a lunch out. The service is speedy and everyone seems to know what is going on. The prices are reasonable provided that they slice the meats right in front of you, definitely a better deal than subway.
