Chef on Call has been my saviour during exam season. If you're craving a bougier version of McDonalds - this is the right place for you. Their strawberry milkshake will send you straight to cloud 9. It's creamy, rich, smooth - a true deluge of strawberry and vanilla delicacies. Nothing goes better with a nice milkshake than crispy yam fries. Not to mention, their chipotle sauce is amazing. I've had their caesar salad too and although the romaine lettuce was quite fresh, it's not worth the price of $11.00. Didn't feel like making dinner one night so I picked up an order here for a basic burger and curly fries to go. It took about 20 minutes for the order to be ready after placing it on the website. At first glance, the burger was packed with mixed greens and a huge beef patty. The lettuce and spinach was definitely needed to cut down all the meat! I was feeling so full after the burger that I couldn't finish the curly fries. The fries were crispy but I would not go for the garlic mayo sauce again for the dip, as it was a bit too heavy on the stomach. This is the most dangerous restaurant in Waterloo. Open until 4AM on the busy nights, fast delivery straight to your door, generous portion sizes, combined with a beautiful and juicy burger... it's probably shortened my lifespan already. Their curly fries are great, and allegedly so are their milkshakes, though I've never tried. Don't make this into a habit. But on the nights when you pounding away at an assignment at 1:30AM, dreading that you won't sleep until 5, and the abyss beckons for some real fucking food: there is no greater indulgence than that first bite into a Gourmet burger. read more

The service is fantastic. They have their take out service down. Everything is very nicely packaged and the paper bag is stapled, I've been there quite a lot of time and they haven't messed up my order yet. They do have a mobile app which is actually quite well designed to my suprise. My friend could not stop raving about this place. And he was right, everything is super solid. The walk-in specials are an steal. My tip is to pay the extra $1 and get onion rings. The dipping sauce is in house made, the garlic mayo is to die for. This new service is fantastic! Their food is delicious and I love that there's no delivery fee! I recently ordered a Gourmet Burger, which is well-sized, juicy, and comes with curly fries and an incredibly addictive garlic mayo. This is not your fast food burger. But the true showstopper was their Cookie Dough Milkshake, which is absolute perfection. The website is easy to use, and their hours make this place a great late night option, which Waterloo sorely needs. My only qualm was that delivery to my place (which is actually right down the street from them) took almost exactly an hour from my order confirmation, which is a little too long, so I'm not sure whether that might be a concern for people ordering from even further away. read more

I recently ordered their crispy chicken burgers and vanilla shake. The vanilla shake is too good, would definitely recommend it to others. The burgers and fries were fresh. My only suggestion would be to add more sauce to the burgers as the chicken breast pieces were too thick + dry and needed some more sauces to account for the dryness. With that being said, I did use the sauces provided on the side to account for the dryness of the chicken patty in the burgers so it was overall a win-win situation. One more point that I want to mention is that I asked for plain fries but got curly fries with the burgers (not a big issue though, just wanted to let you guys know that their is a chance your orders might get a lil' messed up) read more

This was my first time purchasing a meal for myself and a friend of mine. I was looking for a hamburger and he wanted a hotdog and we would share the onion rings. Not only were the onion rings cold but they were tasteless! The hotdog too was cold even though I arrived within the 15-20 minute pickup time. The hamburger was warm but the bun was soggy. The food is to absolutely die for. Especially the poutine! Classic and very French Canadian! One thing they do really need to do is change the line of music that they play. It is 98% Rap or Hip-hop, neither of which I would rate as music. Especially the ones with all the "F" bombs and other offensive language in it. read more
