I can't speak to anyone else's experience, as this review is all my personal experience and opinion…read moreonly, as I know not everyone will have the same experience and I also know there are some solid techs at this company (I have personally dealth with them), but unfortunately I had a nightmare experience with mutiple bad apples in my opinion, and it unfortunately resulted in the end of my storied relationship with a plumber that I thought would be the last one I would ever need, but as they say if something seems too good to be true it usually is... I thought I had found a plumber for life, but my personal experience with Option One ended up with me feeling as though they exhibited failed ownership in addressing an issue caused by errors from their techs, lack of accountability with regard to said issue and becoming confrontational and argumentative when the issue was brought to their attention. Long story short, I had a plumbing blockage that resulted in my front yard needing to be dug up and new pipes being installed in the yard. Upon completion of the job, I experienced flooding in my yard and requested Option One to come out and address the issue. They tried to claim it was an irrigation issue not their problem, but after getting another Option One tech and a plumber from another company to come out, it was confirmed (via photos) that the flooding was due to Option One failing to connect the piping correctly. Instead of taking ownership and accountability for the issue, I was met with defensiveness, along with the above stated lack of ownership and accountability. At one point in the process I even had to ask one of the techs to leave my property because he had such a dismissive unprofessional attitude. I could go on and on but I have already wasted so much time on dealing with this issue that it isn't worth any more of my time. At the end of the day, I found another company to correct the failed work done by Option One and this company apologized on behalf of Option One, as this company felt bad that I had to go through such an ordeal, given that the plumbing industry is already viewed in a negative light by many, right up there with mechanics, car salesmen and attorneys by some. You can read my past reviews to see how much I praised this company in the past, which is why I was so disappointed by what in my personal option was a complete lack of accountability and ownership by multiple individuals across the Option One company. After giving this company multiple five star reviews over the years, I cannot recommend them to anyone anymore as the trust they gained over the years was lost in an instant and based on my personal experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend them to anyone moving forward like I have done in the past.

We had issues with our air conditioning working properly and reached out to an AC company. They came out and suspected it was our main drain line and actually came out twice to try and clean it out by suction and vinegar. We still felt like we were having issues and instead of having the AC company come out for a third time, we decided to call out to a plumber. I contacted a couple different companies, and Yaro was the only one that could send someone the same day and in the evening to work with our schedule! Airforce was our tech. He came by and was super friendly! Loved his attitude and willingness to help us out and get the job completed. He did end up cleaning out the main drain even further and was able to get whatever was stuck out. He even double checked it to make sure he had properly cleaned it out. Love the fact that he was thorough! Since last week we have not had any further issues with our air and feel very confident the job was finally properly done. We also had a water stain that was slowly growing in our laundry room and wanted this checked out while someone was there. Unfortunately it was not wet when Airforce came by, and we have not seen it wet. He suspects it is coming in when it is raining, but is not positive without seeing it wet and without cutting into our drywall. We opted to wait and watch for when it rains to see if we might have some sort of hole with water getting in. We are very appreciative of Yaro and their quickness to help us fix an issue. They were also very reasonably priced - don't forget to mention use of coupons on the website to the tech, for a discounted price!

We were referred to them by a neighbor, whose mother had extensive plumbing and repair work done by them and had great results. We received the same treatment. First of all, we had our main water line that runs to the city water burst in our yard. We found out this was something that others in our neighborhood and elsewhere in Mint Hill have had to deal with at one time or another since water usage was changed from one source to another, currently Charlotte's city water. Anyhow, we discovered we paid half the price as a neighbor once did a couple years ago for the exact same job (but probably us having the better customer service, which seems to be priority number one for this team.) Then, we discovered our dishwasher had been leaking and ruined our kitchen floors, cabinetry, baseboards, and some wainscoting. As anyone knows, from working with insurance companies, you get the minimum amount from them for reparations. Well, these guys were able to work with this amount, plus a minimal amount from our pockets, to renovate our kitchen to a whole other level. All in all, we had major work done for little, done professionally and beautifully. For example, we once had a tacky linoleaum floor, to which was replaced with matching laminate flooring, new cabinets and hardware, new countertops where layered countertops had been thrown down in a shotty way, new wainscoting on the walls, new baseboards and trim, and paint. In addition, they were able to replace our stainless steel dishwasher with a new one, tear down an ugly wall partition from our dining room to living room, and put in a new stainless steel sink, replacing the old iron one. These guys are efficient, professional, and definitely put customer service first. They do high quality work and make sure they are thorough from beginning to end. They not only take care of the plumbing end, but also do carpentry work and home renovation. You only have to call them to take care of it all and they do a superb job on both ends. We highly recommend!

When I needed immediate service this morning I had a very difficult time reaching anyone and when I ultimately did, I was told that South End no longer does HVAC work. Hi will no longer do business with this company for any service they say that they provide.
