I waited to write a review as I wanted to get the true temperament and feel for our dachshund (no health issues whatsoever also). We purchased a dachshund over a year ago and at this point could not be more happy with our little guy. He's truly the sweetest and most loving dachshund I've ever been around. He was clearly loved and cared for as a baby puppy prior to us purchasing him. I cannot put into words how amazing our little guy is. Kim was great to work with- always answering all my questions and informing me of upcoming litters and where my place was on the waiting list. I recently had a terrible experience with this dachshund breeder in Los Lunas, New Mexico. Despite promising to supply us with the dog we requested and taking a $200 "nonrefundable" deposit, the breeder failed to deliver for over six months. When we asked for our deposit back, the breeder became extremely rude and completely unreasonable. A nonrefundable deposit is a mutual agreement that not only will the buyer commit to this breeder but only if the breeder is able to supply the buyer with what they were promised. It is a two way agreement I would not recommend this breeder to anyone. "Jester" is right because this breeder is a joke. read more
