We still need to research this, we are unsure if there is a connection. Today we were traveling from Winston-Salem to Asheville and decided we should find some Dole whip. We were passing through Hickory and my wife said we should look on our Sheetz app and begin calling them to inquire about whether or not they had a whip machine since we didn't want to take the time to visit multiple stores. We got lucky and the first location we called confirmed they had a whip machine, so we quickly reset our route to stop in. This location is very convenient to I-40 and we stepped inside and got busy making our whip. We proceeded to the cashier and didn't know if they charge by weight or not but were shocked when the cashier told us they only charge 99 cents per dish! Wow, what a deal. The Dole whip was very smooth and refreshing and we will absolutely be stopping in to grab whip, especially during the summer. It would absolutely hit the spot on a hot summer day. Another reason to love Sheetz!

On 10/20/22, I received an email from CheckRedi (apparently a third-party collections company CircleK uses to process the EasyPay) indicating that CheckRedi was charging me an additional $35 for the purchase because the original payment did not go through. I might add that I have never had an issue with CircleK EasyPay previously, and I actually have enjoyed the convenience of the EasyPay system. I contacted CircleK customer service via telephone and email explaining the situation. I received no response from either. I contacted CheckRedi and explained the situation to 3 different managers. They were absolutely unapologetic and were not willing to admit the ACH transfer could have been a glitch or in error. I told CheckRedi that I was disputing the $35 charge from them, however, I would absolutely agree to pay the original purchase amount I actually did owe. CheckRedi would not accept this. I then started to CheckRedi that I am officially disputing the charge and will take this to whatever level needed to expose this egregious customer service. Well, here we are. When and IF CircleK customer service gets back to me and resolves this issue, I will surely change the nature of this review. I trust this will happen in time as I have no reason not to expect otherwise. However, I believe CircleK needs to understand how the actions of CheckRedi are detrimental to the customers of CircleK. This is NOT who you want to represent your company.

Additionally, this fuel is generally more expensive than other fuel stations in the area. This is simply two set of pumps,4 separate pumps total and a drive up window to purchase tobacco products. You generally pay at the pump with credit or debit and the pay window is only for prepaying with cash or tobacco purchases. Never had a bad experience here, it's just very crowded and not my first choice for fuel.
