History

Established in 2012.

JETRO and Associates works exclusively with small businesses and small business owners. JETRO and Associates was founded by technology fanatic, Mike Jesowshek CPA, with a goal to provide a digital solution for business looking to take it to the next level utilizing modern, cutting edge technology. So many firms are set in the "old ways" of doing accounting. JETRO is breaking free from the traditional restrictive barriers, while maintaining the same core accounting principals. We set up all of our clients on Quickbooks Online or Xero, cloud accounting systems. This involves migrating the day-to-day accounting work onto an online platform that allows both JETRO and our clients to work on financials seamlessly from any computer/tablet/phone anywhere. By utilizing cloud technology, JETRO is able to bring our clients accounting into the 21st century. This allows us to provide valuable services to our client's in a timelier manner through improved communication and workflow.

Meet the Business Owner: Mike J.

Mike started his entrepreneur journey at the age of 8 selling items on eBay with his Dad. The urge to succeed on his own did not end there. By the age of 17 he had built a business and sold it. From there Mike has faced many successes and failures which ultimately led him to pursue a degree in accounting. After looking at his failures most led back to mismanaged finances. His idea was, "I want to grow the business first and figure the finances out later." Mike earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Masters degree in Accounting. He is also a licensed CPA in Wisconsin. He set out on a mission to help businesses that have seen and lived the same experiences he did in business. This is how The Remote CPA was built. He has been in the shoes of many small business owners out there and his end goal is to help them in one area that most business owners are not familiar with, accounting and taxes.
