I requested a quote Monday morning, dropped my hat off by the afternoon, and they returned it at end of the day on Thursday. They openly communicated with me between then through email and sent a .PDF of the mock up including the digital rendering to ensure the design was to my satisfaction. I requested a few minor changes such as font spacing and placement, and despite my OCD they openly accommodated my request. The job came out to only $10 which was one heck of a deal to be honest. I've been going to the oracle location for almost 3 years and Tyler (I believe that's his name) has always been a joy to work with. Called that location the other day and it had closed down and referred to this location on Romero. I explained to the the gentleman ( I use this term loosely) who answered that I've been getting my printing done at the other location and he assured me my file would be in their system and they could print them. Drove 30 min to come to their location Instead of finding somewhere closer. And when I get there he tells me they don't print single pieces anymore. (May have been nice if he mentioned that before telling me they could do it over the phone). I asked if he could do it this last time as I have customers waiting for this order. He said yes at first then decides he won't after asking about the fabric type. (It was a heat transfer and it seemed like maybe they don't have the equipment or desire to do that anymore which is why I didn't fight it.) I accept this and ask if he can just email the design file so I don't have to start all over at another location. He refuses and instead tells me to go contact the previous printing place I used 3 years ago. Lol. Says he doesn't take time in his day to email things for customers because then he would spend his whole day doing that. I say ok and walk out and then he tells "don't get mad at me!" I don't know what he wanted. For me to thank him and give him a hug? I said ok and left. To then try to start an argument really shows what kind of person he is and why he's losing so much business. It's literally a one minute request to email a file. You were happily taking my money for the past 3 years but it's too much to send me the file? Anyway, I see why his business is failing. And anything I can do to help it fail quicker I'm happy to do. So please message me if you want suggestions of better printing companies! I run a multimillion dollar business so customer support is very important to me, there's nothing I despise more than people treating loyal customers like garbage. I hope he has the day he deserves!
