We had maybe 4 bites leftover, and no room for dessert, it was a personal victory. I'm sad I didn't get photos because I love the feel of each unique area that's here. The restaurant is bigger than you think because it's subdivided into smaller rooms. We had a group of 7 for a work event (which meant I kept my phone put away) and were in a cozy little nook in the back by ourselves, I'd never even noticed this little spot. I always opt for the Parker rolls which are tasty but again expensive for the amount you get, I typically order the trout (which until coming here I didn't realize was essentially the same as salmon). It's very good and the potato pancake is a nice touch. Over my visits I've also enjoyed trying the short rib gnocchi, butter chicken, and brussels. They also have a small party room which I have attended an event in before which is always a nice touch. It's secluded and of course much quieter than their main dining area which can get pretty loud!

Unfortunately it is one of two gas stations by my house and it is almost always the cheaper of the two. They have horrible service and the place is disgusting. The pumps are extremely old and even tend to malfunction occasionally. I was using the end pump closest to Hawley once and the auto shut off didn't engage and the tank started to over flow. Luckily I caught it right away. When I went in to inform the worker of the problem, he took it as me trying to get reimbursed and kept making excuses. I tried to tell him that I just wanted to let him know so they could get it fixed and he continued to be very rude. Thankfully I am moving to the other side of town and won't have to deal with this place much longer! :)

Like many other drug stores, the pharmacy techs can't read very well. This is serious generational…read moreproblem, most young American workers aren't fully literate, but it would seem to be more important at a pharmacy. The fully qualified pharmacist did competently inoculate me at my appointment time. I noticed other reviewers didn't feel safe in the store. I'll tell you who feels safe, and that is all the shaving supplies because they are locked up. Almost every thing for sale here is locked up, presumably to reduce shoplifting but I think the greater crime are the prices Walgreens charges to working people. Well all people really, but if you're working for a living and living in a working class neighborhood you might not have many choices other than Walgreens and they do seem to take advantage of that. I would say the neighborhood is more colorful and entertaining than scary, but the way all the shelves are under lock and key I could see why the casual visiting patron might be frightened.

The convenience store also has what you'd expect: Lottery tickets Junk food Road trip necessities They're within walking distance from my house, so we pretty much fuel up here exclusively. And, do, on occasion walk down for this or that. What they don't have: Refrigerated coffee creamer They may have the powdered stuff (not totally sure) but definitely no dice on the good stuff. Glad to have them close by, but they're definitely a bare bones, no frills, necessity kinda station/store.

The older woman cashier named Frankie made one sandwich instead of 2 that I asked for. So I KINDLY said, " no I wanted 2", she began to SCREAM EXTREMELY LOUD, yelling " I ASKED YOU, I ASKED YOU HOW MANY YOU WANT AND YOU SAID ONE" from the other side of the store! COMPLETELY BELLIGERENT! I kept my composer and she continued to SCREAM at me at the register. I said that I didn't want this sandwich either because of how she was talking to me and placed it at on the counter and she COMPLETELY LIED and said that I threw it at her. (LOOK AT THE CAMERA, SHE'S A LIER)Then she walked from behind the counter to the back and said something about Black and color while she was walking away. She's previously made a pizza that I ordered WITHOUT WEARING GLOVES and when I said something about it she said the heat will kill the germs! CRAZY!! I've seen here fight with a co-worker in front of customers while I was in the store. This lady is UNHINGED and SHOULD NOT be working with the public. She's putting Speedway and ALL of her co workers at risk! I usually avoid her at all cost when I'm in the store or bypass the store all together when I see her working. She is CONSTANTLY RUDE to me and other's customers in the store and I don't deserve that inhumane treatment.
