Appreciate Staff Curiosity Communication One on One Customer Over All Review Is excellent

Like many other drug stores, the pharmacy techs can't read very well. This is serious generational problem, most young American workers aren't fully literate, but it would seem to be more important at a pharmacy. The fully qualified pharmacist did competently inoculate me at my appointment time. I noticed other reviewers didn't feel safe in the store. I'll tell you who feels safe, and that is all the shaving supplies because they are locked up. Almost every thing for sale here is locked up, presumably to reduce shoplifting but I think the greater crime are the prices Walgreens charges to working people. Well all people really, but if you're working for a living and living in a working class neighborhood you might not have many choices other than Walgreens and they do seem to take advantage of that. I would say the neighborhood is more colorful and entertaining than scary, but the way all the shelves are under lock and key I could see why the casual visiting patron might be frightened. read more

If you value your life, I would not got to this Walgreens's. We stopped in after dark on a Friday night and it was all shady characters inside and outside loitering on foot and in their vehicles. Maybe it's different during daylight however at night, you will probably fear for your life. read more

Went to get a prescription filled and was told it would take 20-30 min to fill it. Unfortunately, they didn't have my medication in stock so they weren't able to fill my prescription for me. That wouldn't have been a problem if they would have told me when they found out they didn't have it. Instead, I waited and waited for close to an hour before asking if they had my medicine ready and I just didn't here it. Then they told me they didn't have the medicine. I asked how long they knew they couldn't fill my prescription and they said they caught it just after I gave it to them. I will not be giving this pharmacy anymore business if they are ok with treating other's time this way. read more

The lady that picked up the call was so rude. The first time I called she hung up. The second time she let it ring for 10 minutes. Once she finally picked up she sounded to miserable. Rude, awful, will never come back. read more

The location and hours for this location are convenient, but I wouldn't linger too long in here. It's a popular enough location - there's been a line every time I've been there. Maybe I just got lucky, but the cashiers here were very friendly every time. You definitely have to watch out for panhandlers though, it's almost guaranteed at this location. read more

My experience with this location has been less than comfortable. I have always been met with long wait times and long lines when I go to fill my perscriptions. I have been hung up on when calling to inquire about perscriptions and I have chosen to avoid this location whenever possible. I understand that many of the customers may be ill at times, but that does not seem to have occurred to the staff. There seems to be long wait times even when there are few people waiting in line. I don't understand why staff seem to be condescending and combative at times. I have noticed that if you are dealing with chronic pain, you are required to wait more than 2 1/2 hours to refill pain meds as a way to control drug abuse, but instead penalizing people for chronic pain regardless if you have gone there for months at a time. read more

Love this walgreens. Neat and clean. People are friendly and greet you. Pharmacists dont ignore you and let you know they will be right with you. Most places just ignore you til they are ready to wait on you. Easy to get in and out of for the most part. read more

The cashiers are usually rude. Once in a while you get one who's nice. The store front and parking lot is always messy / dirty. The security at night distract the cashier from doing there job so the wait time in line is longer than it should be. And if you go at night, walk fast through the parking lot because there's always someone asking you for change and and sometimes the person goes as far as following you to your vehicle. I would recommend NOT going to this Walgreens if you don't have to or at the very least try to go in the morning. read more

Out of all the Walgreens I've ever been to in my life, this has got to be the worse. This is by far the worse in the country. Before I even got out the car in this litter strewn parking lot I noticed a bum standing by the door in the freezing cold and knew what was about to happen. Just as I predicted he asked me for spare change. Next, as most people know you usually get greeted with a welcome to Walgreens but not at this location. The staff spends more time talking to each other than trying to be nice to customers. My cashier, Dominique, was so slow, it was like his arms were like a Three-Toed Sloth. Closest walgreens to my house. I try to avoid it, but cant always. Employees dont like their jobs, and roles over to customer service.

I didn't find the staff overall to be as rude and generally disrespectful as many of my fellow Yelpers, but I will say that I was checked out three times and had varying experiences at all three. The first time was in the photo department, and the lady checking me out was a bit rude, slightly inattentive to my needs, and more than a little hurried. The second time was at the pharmacy, and though I was nice and as polite as I normally am, she was not entirely so. Granted, the pharmacy was very busy, and many of the customers seemed overly demanding and not very nice at all, but I was reasonably pleasant indeed. The third time I was checked out was at the front of the store, and the jady who did so was quite pleasant, and I would go through her line anytime, but I will also say that I have had much better experiences at other Walgreens stores. If you have another Wakgreens option, you might want to take it. read more

The worst store I've ever been to. The cashier in the front was beyond rude. But the cashiers in the cosmetic and photo department was so nice. The area is a bad area too. I went there at 10 pm and there were all these thugs hanging out outside by the entrance , around 10 of them. I don't recommend for anyone to go there. read more

My experiences at the Walgreen's on 3522 W. Wisconsin Ave. have been a real pain. This Walgreen's store is one of the 24 hour locations. No matter what time of the day or night you visit this store, there are always long lines, often out of stock inventory security guards doing everything, BUT SECURING THE STORE, and not to mention the constant panhandling day and night. Often when I visit this store there is an older lady by the name of Gloria, who is often at the front counter...YOU CAN'T MISS HER, SHE SITS ON A STOOL. Making the lines longer when has to turn to give customers tobacco products or anything behind the counter. My advice would be, put Gloria at a register where she does nothing but check people out... Nothing more... Be careful when you visit this Walgreen's the beggars outside the store are absolutely horrible. read more
