It is a father/son operation and Tony is the hands on general contractor with his son, Miguel doing the sales, marketing and quoting. The initial crew of three did the demolition and removal in one day. One day was impressive alone, however the care they took to move the furniture around, the plastic coverings and thoughtfulness they took to make sure the dust in minimized was noteworthy. They have a "ringer" named Mario who is a young highly skilled, experienced worker doing the flooring and shower tiles. If he doesn't work directly for Top Tier he should because I don't believe there is a more skilled/qualified installer than Mario. Sometimes one other helper supported Mario, however he is the expert when it comes to laying the tile and tiling the shower. The bathroom is fabulous and the real maestro is Tony, who anticipated and envisioned the work performed from the beginning to end. We bought some inexpensive tile for the shower walls and Tony and Mario pointed out that the tiles were warped and inferior design. We returned the tiles and replaced them with better quality tiles, saving us time, money and rework effort. Another interesting thing about Top Tier that is noteworthy is their honesty and initiative. Tony noted the when the washer/dryer were moved the water connection leaked. He replaced the parts causing the leak at no charge. Top Tier doesn't have a lot of overhead whereas Tony is the hands on general contractor with his son doing all the quoting, sales and administrative work making them a very reasonably priced option for pretty much any remodeling project one might have. For the quality work, experience and knowledge I believe Top Tier is the best value option in the Coachella Valley and surrounding area in my opinion.
