Thinking that nothing could exceed the chowder from our home in the state of Washington, we were speechless. The fish chowder was easily the best we have ever eaten. The bread was a perfect companion to the chowder and the fresh butter could not be surpassed. The raw oysters were super fresh and it was fun getting to see the manager show us how to shuck oysters (he used to compete in oyster shucking contest and was ranked pretty high!). They seemed to be constantly overwhelmed. When the tables began to fill ,service time became protracted, and attentiveness dropped markedly. I even had to walk up to the front to pay my bill.
