Please don't come here if you actually care about the way your child is treated. Long read but worth it. This was my 5 year old's 1st dance class experience. She is quieter than most kids. She started in February 2025 and her last class was early June 2025. We noticed right away that the instructor, who I believe is the owner, Vienna had little patience with kids but we wanted to stick it out. She is usually running behind on classes so you'll start a few minutes late for a 30 minute class but she makes sure that she's done on time. She's on her phone most of the time & trying to figure out what music to play rather than having it ready before class. When she was showing the kids the recital, she was constantly changing moves & making the dance up on the spot. At the last class my daughter attended, you could tell she wasn't feeling class and not doing her best moves. Vienna kept calling her out and telling the class they had to start over because my daughter was doing it wrong. Naturally, that brought my daughter down & she checked out (understanding since again, she's 5). Vienna kept calling her out the whole 30 minute class then grabbed her arms aggressively to do the move properly, mind you she almost never even acknowledges my daughter the whole time she's been enrolled. My daughter came out very sad telling me she doesn't want to come back & of course I don't want her back there either since I did witness everything. I emailed them the following week letting them know she won't be back & asked when we can get her recital costume since we paid for it & she loves playing dress up. Vienna asked if there was something we can work out so she can do the recital at the end of the month & said we can pick up the costume during open business hours if not. The manager, Camille, who is Vienna's mom called me & left messages. I honestly didn't want confrontation so I figured I would respond once we got the costume with the reason we made this decision. My aunt went to pick up the costume for me & they asked if I can call and confirm that my aunt is allowed to take the costume. When I called and told Camille that it was ok, she asked me what happened. I told her what happened & she got defensive & said kids need to be corrected. I agreed but said not to the extent Vienna went to & my daughter was no longer comfortable coming to their "Housee." She asked what I would do when my daughter was corrected at school & I told her she is already great in school & we don't have issues like this. I then told her that I felt Vienna was aggressive when moving her arms and she said she found that hard to believe. Then Vienna took the phone and said I needed to email that it was ok my aunt take the costume which I was trying to do but then she started yelling and I couldn't even understand what she was saying at this point. I told her I wasn't arguing with her & this is exactly why my daughter wasn't coming back & why I didn't tell them why until I got the costume because I KNEW this kind of situation would happen. My mom took the phone from me and told them this wasn't the time to do this since we were at gymnastics so Vienna put the phone down & Camille hung up on my mom. My aunt was cordial with them the whole time but they were being snippy with her. Then they were talking negatively about a 5 year old while my aunt was right there; saying she never listened anyways (which is not at all true plus she's been in gymnastics a year & has absolutely no issues, never wanted to quit either). Then again infront of my aunt, Camille told Vienna that they shouldn't give my daughter the recital shirt but Vienna said just to give it to her because we paid for it. I've seen and heard them acting this way to kids & parents & was hoping I wouldn't have to do this review but here we are. My family nor my daughter never gave them problems but they don't like being told they're wrong. A simple "I'm sorry you feel that way" would have been fine. Extremely unprofessional & I bet they will respond to this with something passive aggressive like their last negative review. This all just shows what kind of people they are.

My daughter started dancing competitively, and after a horrible experience in Palos Heights, we came here because it was more local to us. My daughter has grown as a dancer in such a short time. She's learning technique, something that was missing from the other place. Everyone is on task and there's little horseplay in the classes. The instructors actually participate and demonstrate what is being taught. My daughter is always excited to go to class. Ms Marylee runs a great business and she cares about her dancers. She puts out a great product. Highly recommended! I'm proud to have my daughter go there.

Marylee Sinopoli…read more Extremely dedicated to her students progress and brings in all styles of dance: Tap Ballet/Pointe Jazz Modern Hip Hop Music Dance Theatre Lyrical Ballroom Creative Movement Yoga (Yep, even yoga) And the list goes on, I've probably forgotten several other classes that are taught as well. There are two separate dance floors, so two classes can run at the same time with no interference. My Sister-in-law teaches tap here along with both my nieces that are dancing students and they love it! I got to peek in on one or two of their classes and it's amazing to see how much they've progressed. Along with all the wonderful dancing that goes on here there is also amazing art work displayed, all of it is completed by the owners mother. Great feel of unity here at the studio, which can be difficult to come by these days in most studios. Truly a positive place to come and learn to dance, at all ages. The owner, you can tell, has put great work, care and time into creating a huge success here at the Dance Gallery.

The classes are small whichs allows for a more personal feel. Kelly will take the time and make sure you are doing the moves correctly in order to get the most out of your workout. She is extrtemely knowlegdable in both fitness and nutrition...I'm telling you, this girl knows what she's doing. She also makes sure to learn all the participants names to help encourage you along the way....how cool is that? Not only are you getting a personalized workout but did I mention it's affordable? These classes will not break the bank like some of the other downtown gyms...and also you do not need to sign a contract which allows for a lot of flexibilty within your schedule. I couldn't be happier with the workout that I recieved from Kelly at Barre it All. I am still feeling the affects of it two days later (no joke). I think this gym is a great addition to the area and I can't wait to try some of the other classes offered:)

My family unfortunately had finished paying the so called "choreographer" JESUS ESTRADA, to not only leave us hanging two weeks before my sister's quince, but always cancelling, making excuses, never replying, etc. JESUS ESTRADA is LAZY, UNPROFESSIONAL, INCONSIDERATE, AND A LIAR. Please DO NOT be fooled by "good" choreography that has been done by him REPEATEDLY ! Avoid this place at all costs. THEY WILL SCAM YOU ! This place only cares about money and has total disregard for customer service. On another note, he says that he will provide suits for the chambelanes, but at the end he either makes up excuses as to why he "did not" get the suits or tells the family last minute to provide the suits themselves. Yet again, he had chambelanes work for him and never ended up paying them for their part as promised. Even if he ends up providing suits for your chambelanes, it always ends up being black and nothing to match the color of the quince. With our experience, he always ended up showing up late, never finishes the dances (which follows up with repeats of other dances that have been "choreograph" by him). The amount of times we tried to contact him through texts and calls, he never ended up answering and if he did it was to notify that the practice has been cancelled HOURS when it should have started. Or simply because "SUPPOSEDLY" he FORGOT. JESUS ESTRADA overbooks himself and never provides his part of the contract. At the end of the day they will simply IGNORE you on PURPOSE because they know how to fool their customers. The staff could care less if you are wasting your time waiting on them to show up. In addition, if you are one of the lucky people he texted back it was only to request for an additional payment prior to the "contract." As always DO NOT get fooled by this message, it always benefits HIM for the MONEY. This is his ways of gaining trust for his "customers." Again, if you are looking for a professional choreographer PLEASE DO NOT HIRE JESUS ESTRADA FOR YOUR EVENTS! YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED ! If for whatever reason you ended up paying a deposit or more, please STOP WASTING YOUR MONEY BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT GET IT BACK ! The staff will either not answer you or will keep delaying time for a "refund." THIS "BUSINESS" IS A FRAUD !!!
