I thought it was the struts and took it to a shop and was told that it was a 2016 Hyundai Alantra with only 38thousand miles on it. It may have other issues. He told me to do a CarFax on it and when I got home and did the CarFax I found 6 reports on the car. The frame is bent that's why the car would swing so bad. It was a death trap. I recently bought it in September of 2017 and gave it back to Capital One right before Christmas. Messed up my credit from 640 to 501. Sorry sacks of Shit!!!!! All they cared about was getting a sell. The car came with one key, no floor mats and no spare tire or car jack. It also had a musty smell as if it was once in a flood. Most of their cars are recked/ refurbished cars and cars from previous floods. Don't buy a vehicle at Ville Platte Dodge!!!! I am getting a attorney about my situation. When I gave the car up, I canceled the insurance on 12/20/2017 the car was picked up as it shows in the picture on 12/27/2017. The next month I received a letter in the mail from my insurance company saying that the car was involved in an accident on 12/27/2017 which was the day the tow truck guy came pick it up. I have the papers videos and pictures to prove it. Y'all knew that car was dangerous and I am not the first one to complain about y'all selling a dangerous car to. There are many others I have talked to since giving that car back complaining about the same things and getting their money back from y'all so stop with the wantta be innocent game there is nothing nice nor innocent about y'all or yalls business. TLDR: Never buy a car from ville platte dodge…read more Their cars seem great, especially ones with only a few thousand miles on them. They are likely wrecked. I was sold a car that i was told was not wrecked. I noticed a small rust spot, a missing drain plug, and a mildew smell. Was told "it must have gotten wet from the car wash" and they would clean it, and replace the plug. (They never did) Once i noticed mold growing on my carpet, i took it elsewhere in Lafayette and they were super helpful. They informed us the car had been wrecked, and replaced the drain plug. With the drain plug intact and no where for the water to go... The next rain left my car with a river under the floor board. The damage from the wreck was poorly repaired, leaving my car with rust, moisture, and mold. When looking into reports, it said the wreck caused very minor damage which is usually scrapes and cosmetics. This damaged the frame of my car, causing it to not seal correctly, leaving me to believe there are repairs made under the table so it wouldn't report the severity of the damage. When talking to them about how i was unsatisfied, i was met with the "as is" clause. I understand legally they do not have to take any action. They just wanted to sell me another car. I do not trust any cars on their lot. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone.
