Amy is the best card shop employee hands down! The place has more singles and stock than most lgs period; wall full of mtg singles, lots of sealed sports product & singles, pokemon & other tcgs, and even vintage packs of almost anything you can think of. Overall a cool place; if you plan on bringing trades just know the owner has to be there, is selective, and isn't there mid afternoons so gotta catch him at open or close. read more

I went here just recently for a Magic the Gathering event and was floored by how disappointing this location was. Please take into account these observations when deciding to go here versus and of the other acceptable store in the area. I know that this is a bit long winded, but I felt that these problems needed to be stated so that either the store take action to rectify the issues or that newcomers don't unknowingly walk into one of the most unwelcoming and unpleasant LGSs. The Event: I will state that the employees did not run the worst event that I have ever attended. They were competent enough to keep things rolling in an orderly manner and had a prize support system which I was more than happy with. This is not enough for me to raise from a 1 star rating though. Prices and Product: Good. Average. Ok deals. More than enough product about (more on that later). The Staff: Meh... while the two who were running the show were constantly present, they had this disconnected attitude towards the whole ordeal. Unless you were looking to buy something or are a regular patron of the shop, neither employee seemed to want to talk to you. They did, however, kindly provide everyone with coffee and bagels which was a nice gesture. The Community: This was one of the most disappointing portions of my time spent at this location. I play this game to interact with people and spark up conversations about a common interest. While here there were only two people out of the 24 people who actively talked to me. Everyone else was extremely cliquey any attempt to jump into a discussion was met with unwelcoming glares and a change of topic. Also, almost in a cultish fashion, every person I did talk to, swore by this store. I am sure that they can cite plenty of positives about the location, but having to be a regular to see those benefits is a big red flag to me. Cleanliness: Oh my god... I have been to some holes in my 12 years of playing this game, but none of them come close to sporting the type of filth that this place did. I am going to list all of the issues instead of in a single block of text for readability: - The carpet is mostly gray from a lack of vacuuming. You can see the accumulation of dust all over the floor. - There is a hole in the floor and you can look down and see what looks like someone's living quarters. - There is product absolutely everywhere. The counters are packed the cases are packed the walls are covered. Behind the counter is nothing but boxes upon boxes of stuff. Trying to find something you are looking for is an absolute chore just because there is not a single space that is not occupied by some sort of saleable object. It is just too much for such a small place. - The playing tables did not seem to have been cleaned in quite some time. I am glad that I brought my playmat for this occasion. - The most disheartening thing I saw during my visit to this location was the state of the restroom. I am not that sensitive to unclean facilities, but as long as they are at least kept up with (stocked and free of random trash) I generally don't have too much of an issue. The toilet look like it hadn't been cleaned since the 80s (a quick wipe with some tissue on the seat left a nice black streak). The sink was in disrepair. There was duct tape over the knob for hot water and the faucet would spew if you just slightly turned it. On top of that it looked like there was an old food bowl and knife in the sink that would splash as soon as you would turn the water on. The lock was broken so anyone can walk in without notice. Lastly they failed to provide any sort of hand soap which is just the cherry on top. Overall, this store is ok if you are looking to buy something. If you are looking for a place to play, you are better off going to 'East Coast Gamers' which is relatively closeby* *I am in no way shape or form affiliated with ECS. This guy probably had no idea what he was looking for in the first place. Don't listen to him!!! I go to Jiffy all the time to buy MTG cards and the people are always friendly and nice and I've never had a problem. Sometimes I go in there to get cards and I'll just ask what do you have for this specific kind of deck and they'll tell me goblins, vampires, elves etc. or recommend something that I could use. They also use the computer to price every card equivalent with a trusted sight. Every time!!! Trust me, I'm not one of their family members and I don't know these people personally, but every time I've ever gone to the store they're willing to spend as much time with me looking up cards on the computer that I could use and pricing everything out. I also know that they play booster draft and other tournament style games there all the time. Anyone who likes MTG Should check this place out. This other guy who wrote the bad review does not know what he's talking about and probably didn't know what he wanted in the first place. I love MTG. read more
