She talked so fast while giving me a handful of prescriptions for things that I wasn't even there to see her about. She was mean to her medical student and embarrassed her in front of me and my family. I told her I was there to discuss menopause, which is supposed to be her specialty, but she dismissed that very quickly and told me to change my diet and go to a yoga class. She was pushing for me to get a tetanus shot so hard I started to wonder if she is getting kickbacks from the pharmaceutical company that makes them. I felt disrespected, ignored and belittled by her. When the very nice woman at the front desk asked when I wanted to make my next appointment, I politely told her it would be a cold day in hell before I would ever go anywhere near that awful woman again.

The order was faxed to the hospital. I arrived the next day and they never received an order. Which I guess is what happens when you have a trainee on the phone. The on call doctor finally sent it over. It has now been a week, with multiple calls to the office for the results and I have heard nothing. Either the office staff is just incompetent, or Dr. Reese could care less about his patients, either way, I'm still waiting. Funny though, just received notice from my insurance company that the claim was paid. I would rather pass a kidney stone than deal with this place again.

Once discharged from the hospital (the Cleveland Clinic) I was given catheters to use until a package of them (ordered by the hospital) arrived. I traveled to my home across country and then discovered that I had been given the wrong catheters. I had to reuse the few given to me that fit until I received a package of the correct ones. I ended up developing urinary tract infection and was hospitalized with the diagnosis of Sepsis. While in the hospital for 15 days I developed additional infections. I left word with Dr Fergany's assistant day after day, week after week over a period of 4+ months and have still not received a call back from Dr Fergany. The lack of care post op is both shocking as well as inexcusable and Dr Fergany should lose his license to practice medicine for his disgraceful conduct.

Don't trust this doctor!!!!…read more My cancer spread to the bladder. Dr Fergany surgically removed the bladder and replaced it with an internal "Indiana pouch." From that point onward I must use a catheter to empty the pouch. After I was released from the hospital (The Cleveland Clinic) I traveled across country to my home and began using the catheters the hospital ordered. The hospital erroneously ordered the wrong type of catheter. I had to reuse the ones given to me by the hospital until the correct ones arrived. I developed a urinary tract infection, was hospitalized for weeks and during my hospital stay developed a number of other infections. My diagnosis was Sepsis, a very serious condition. I have left numerous messages with Dr Fergany's assistant over a four month period but Dr Fergany has not returned my calls! It is entirely unethical to give absolutely no attention to a very sick patient post surgery. He should lose his medical license for violating his professional responsibilities.

I am extremely dissatisfied with Dr. Montague. He performed a penile…read more implant procedure on me in Nov 2014. He did not utilize a 3 piece implant (LGX, Titan etc..) because he was afraid of possible complications arising from the placement of the reservoir in my abdomen, as I have abdominal mesh on the right side of my abdomen (But none on the left side where the reservoir could have easily been placed). I should mention, In 2012 I had a cancerous tumor removed from my sacrum along with S2 and below, hence the need for an implant. Instead, Dr. Montague opted to use a 2 piece implant (Ambicor) which has no reservoir. As it tuns out, his decision was a very poor one and perhaps motivated by fear more than anything else. Briefly, the end result was that I received an implant which shortened my penis length tremendously (About 1.5 inches less) and also reduced my girth substantially. Furthermore, the Ambicor is incapable of becoming substantially flaccid, this resulted in a very embarrassing and unsightly bulge in my crotch area which always needed to be covered with a shirt. The implant is also a pain to inflate, as it requires a bit of strength and maneuvering to fully deploy. (To make things worse, Dr. Montague has a brusque bedside manner. Bluntly speaking, the man has the warmth of an ice cube coupled with a hefty dose of arrogance. He is excessively economical with his words which makes him appear terse & condescending.) Highly displeased I subsequently sought the help of a well known urologist on the East coast. He told me that he could easily implant a 3 piece prosthesis and that placement of the reservoir would be no problem. In fact, he told me that he has placed a reservoir in over a hundred patients that actually have bilateral mesh, not just on one side as is my case, with absolutely NO complications. Long story short, the revision surgery went perfectly. FYI: My new surgeon told me that Dr. Montague incorrectly sized the Ambicor which resulted in a loss of about 1.5 inches ! Luckily I recovered (most) this loss of length due to my doctors ability to properly size the new implant (LGX). Further, my new surgeon told me that Dr. Montague made an unnecessarily large incision on my scrotum (Both utilized a scrotal approach). Lastly and most interestingly, he told me that it took him under 30 seconds to place the reservoir in theleft side of my abdomen! 30 SECONDS! He was rather amazed and puzzled that Dr. Montague was unwilling to use the newer and far more well received 3 piece implant, especially in light of the fact that I have mesh placed only on my right abdominal wall, not the left! I consulted over 3 urologists before/after my penile implant procedure with Dr. Montague. These surgeons are from top tier institutions such as Johns Hopkins and Columbia. All of them emphatically stated that they had no issues utilizing the 3 piece implant despite the mesh on my right abdominal wall. Though I ended up choosing Dr. Montague due to Cleveland Clinic's reputation and the hospital's somewhat close proximity to my new place of residence. (Had I not moved out of state recently I would not have chosen Dr. Montague. ) Dr. Montague wasted a lot of my time and money. He caused me unnecessary pain and mental anguish. Needless to say, I absolutely do not recommend him. He is immeasurably conservative and has a rather poor bedside manner. Folks, it is not the institution which is paramount, rather it is the surgeon or doctor. Do your homework, visit as many doctors as reasonably possible, get references and do not be afraid to speak up. All the best. After 20 years of suffering and only able to remember the life I once lived, I needed a full hip replacement. Sadly, the pain continued following the surgery, so bad in fact that several nights a week for the past three plus years, I was unable in getting a good nights sleep. Thankfully, that all stopped in one day after being treated by Dr. Jane. I know this sounds hard to believe, but it's true. Our consult w/Dr. Jane was wonderfully professional and thorough; she looked to get to the heart of the matter, and provided a remedy for our situation. It is/has been working well. Very well. We felt comfortable and satisfied w/our experience and will see this doctor again. Following is my email: Dear Dr. Jane, We are so blessed to have found you! On the first morning after the medicine Al had shown improvement. His temperature reduced on that first day, in a small degree: the rash on his face was lessened. After the second day, the rash was gone from his face, and his chills/fever were more reduced. Today, the third day, his fever is gone, the rash on the body is gone, and all that is left, as Al said, is dry skin, cracked from the rash and swelling. Thank you for the follow up/phone visit today as well. We weren't home yesterday, we've had a family crisis that we've been also dealing with. We are so glad we found you.
