This is an outdoor-ish type restaurant, so don't expect air conditioning and white linen. Nonetheless, it's gorgeous and comfortable in its own special way. A wonderful treat for the palette, Filipino / Quezon provincial delicacies at its best for your tummy to enjoy. The food takes a while but totally worth the wait, I'm not sure if the food is prepared fresh when you order it, but nonetheless, it was well worth the extra wait. The view from the main dining area is beautiful, a stream running just below, with beautiful trees and a mountain as the backdrop as the cool breeze runs through. The servers are friendly and always helpful with a smile. The service overall is OK. The food: Binagoongan: a house specialty: I haven't had this dish prepared so well before today. The skin of the pork was crispy and meat was tender. The dish was not overly salty considering its contents. I'm no expert on Filipino cuisine because of my inexperience with it specifically, yet this is one of my favorite dishes overall, just superb to the palette. Chima: noodles which are stir fried with vegetables and meat: dish was very good, noodles had a perfect al dente texture which is rare for me here in the Philippines, noodles are usually cooked all the way through making them soft. Delicious! Pako Salad: my first time to have this: One of the best salads I've ever had. I cannot quite describe the taste, the greens were fresh, crisp, and I'm not sure if it's the vinegar based dressing or the greens themselves, but I enjoyed this salad throughly! Topped with onions, tomatoes, and salted egg, who would have thought this salad is one of the best I've ever had. Must must try! Halo halo: The ice is smooth and not chunky, so right off the bat, there's something going right here. The milk they used or cream was a coconut base, of course! We're in Quezon the coconut capital. Overall just a simply fantastic put together dessert. Whether you have room for dessert or not, you have to try this as well. Overall, 4 stars. The food alone does it for me, the rest was pretty much negligible. Simply awesome food!!! Al la cuisine! Stay hungry!

The food is prepared well, and the view is gorgeous. I'm from the U.S., so for other foreigners,…read moreplease don't expect nice bathroom facilities. Also, someone is raising chickens nearby, so sometimes you get wafts of that. Of course, there are mosquitoes, since the place is outside. With that said, if you want a great take on Filipino food, I would definitely recommend this place. Egg rolls, pinakbet, and the pako salad were all great. Wasn't the biggest fan of their version of Halo-halo--I could have used a bit more variety in the mixings, so it was average for me. The view of the river and the forest around is spectacular. The waiters were nice. Again, the food is the thing at this place. I wasn't disappointed. Also, the place is kind of hard to find. Don't trust your smartphone GPS. Good luck. The compound on which the restaurant is located is interesting: some kind of antique shop with beautiful plants and trees and a well. It's definitely a memorable place. There weren't many people around when I visited, so the antique areas were cool/creepy to see.

What an amazing spot!!! No notes whatsoever…read more My family', 13 total, spent 3 days in San Pablo City being pampered by my cousin who settled here after marrying into a family based in the city. Our stay concluded here with a lunch for our two families totaling 23 people. Our 12pm reservation was upstairs. We ended up taking over the whole space overlooking the view downstairs. My cousin Diana basically took care of everything. She ordered for all of us with exception of the teenagers who wanted to eat fried foods. Based on what came my way, the highlights were: Bistek tagalog - it left me wanting more rice Puso ng saging - hands down everyone's favorite. So much so we ordered one to go to bring to our family in Manila. We're from Bicol and have this dish regularly when we're there so finding it here after we had just left Bicol certainly was no coincidence Halo halo - best one I had. PERIODT We only ordered one which the kids ended up hogging to themselves since it was that good Turon - fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiire The kids had fish & chips which I was told was good. The ambience here is it. You're transported in time as soon as you walk in. It reminded me of places in Vigan. Even the decor had us staring. My sister wanted to buy one of the paintings, but we were told they weren't for sale. It rained for a few minutes shortly before we left. The garden area looked so breathtaking as it got poured on by so much water. We left full and thankful. The drive back to Manila was so chill. Most of us were knocked out from the best food coma. If you're in the area, this place is a must.

The food is delicious and ambiance is beautiful but the best part is the SERVICE! Wonderful servers!read more

A recommended restaurant for their good food that is about two hours from Manila cuz of traffic…read more The place is busy and good size for large groups. Customer service is very friendly and attentive. Food was good but man, they don't have AC so it was hard to eat especially, hot foods and soup. I would say I was drooling with sweat and I was sticking to the chair. ;p It just so happen to be hot and humid outside. Windows and doors were all open. They did have a fan but was not enough. I had to drink a lot. Bathroom is unisex and they do not provide tissue so recommend to always bring in your purse when in the Philippines. =} We ordered: Ripe Mango shake - has milk and was good. I had two of these cuz it was hot. Pork Sinigang - it was very good and the first time to see jack fruit in the soup. Will have to try this at home. Fried chicken - good Pinakbet - good Pancit - good Shrimp - sautéed with veggies Sweet potatoes - forgot what his was called but it was covered with cooked mayo. It was sweet and good. Veggie plate Pork Binagoongan - was pretty good but small portion I would come back if they have AC...haha.

You can park in front of the restaurant but space can be limited since it's along the main road,…read moreBUT they have more across the street. There's a sign indicating where it is. Their family-owned business is a sure place to visit when we head to their province. Filipino food is served there and they have HUGE fishes! Everything is delicious so far: meats, seafood, and vegetables. They also have some space for events. Interior is lovely so make sure to bring a camera! If you want to bring home some notable pasalubong, go for their bagoong or shrimp paste. (usually partnered with green mangoes) It's in a giant glass jar and the size did overwhelm me a bit. Expect service charge.
