We've seen a few different doctors (sometimes we aren't able to see his PCP) and everyone is very knowledge, cordial and kind. The nurses are all great and attempt to calm my son down who get a a bit nervous as he's only 2.5 (he started seeing his doctor at 18 months when we moved to NYC). At times during afternoon visits when they're busier the wait time can be a little long but that's fine. We are patient and things work out.

We came all the way from the middle east…read more After arriving to new york, perhaps because of the long flight, she got congested and had a very bad cough. So we went to the nearest City MD near our hotel, the doctor seemed so terrified knowing that we came from the Arab region and started asking about MERS and things that were completely irrelevant to what was happening to her. Not only that, but he immediately prescribed her an antibiotic without any blood tests or thorough check up. So the next day she took the antibiotic + the cough syrup he prescribed her and her situation got worse. Way worse than anyone can imagine. Upon recommendations and reviews we contacted Dr Primas for urgent in-house care and not only did they give us a quick appointment but they also welcomed us to the clinic in case the time was not suitable. I am not going to take longer than I did but he actually asked about her entire medical history and was completely considerate of the entire situation and recommended a treatment only after assessing her medical condition. He usually prefers not to treat his patients with an antibiotic which is what we always prefer as patients so it was perfect. The antibiotic prescribed to her gave her severe effects and nausea so Dr Primas treated her with a shot (injection) and she literally felt better in 5 minutes. He was also kind enough to prescribe me medications to avoid getting a flu while studying for my course in new york city during that period. He also does not charge for follow ups after the first appointment, in case you needed to see him again. I left his clinic so happy and relieved and took her to the park right accross from Dr Primas building for fresh air, and we enjoyed the rest of our time together. Once in a while I did encounter a kind doctor who took their time to really understand my health concern. I've since tried NYU and Mount Sinai and have had a much better experience at both.
