However, through no fault of her own or office staff the wait time for a first appointment is a minimum of 6 months.

They refused to make an appointment until I got a hearing test. Even though I had an appointment the following week to get a hearing test, that was not good enough. They said call them after I got the test. I got the test and there was no problem with my hearing. I was told my hearing was better than half the 4 year olds they see and they would submit the paperwork immediately to the doctor. I called the doctor's office as soon as I got home from the hearing center, spoke to someone who said they didn't get anything from the hearing center. I expressed again the urgency as I have had problems sleeping and working due to this noise in my left ear. I didn't hear back. I verified with the hearing center that the records were sent to my doctor. Called again, spoke to someone named Mayana who wouldn't let me finish, cut me off, put me on hold and left me there for 15 minutes. I hung up and called back, was on hold again for another 15 minutes, got Mayana again. I asked to speak to an office manager, Mayan became very rude and hung up on me. I did hear from the office manager who was just as awful and basically accused me of lying about getting the hearing test, refused to schedule the appointment. Claimed "I can't just take your word for it" because the hearing center had yet to fax the results of my test. Nevermind that she spoke to the hearing center who informed them that I took the test. My best friend even called from New Jersey because she couldn't believe they were refusing to schedule an appointment when I was having such severe and disruptive health issues. They refused to let her schedule the appointment on my behalf. Later that day, I received a letter from Dr. Huang in Sutter's MY HEALTH accusing me of using foul language and threatening to not see me. I never used foul language. This is a flat out lie. I never used one word of profanity. There is seriously something wrong with the people who work here where they would concoct a fake story like this. I plan on filing a grievance with Sutter. Unacceptable. I decided to consult my insurance and find another ENT. Made an appointment and was told to send the results of my test before my appointment. No insults or rudeness. Easy peasy. Maybe Dr. Huang is good at what she does but the administration is rude and unsympathetic and I would never go to a place where this type of behavior is condoned.

    This place is fantastic for low income or Medicare patients -- at least at the Round Barn location…read more I am always seen within 10 minutes of my appointment time (usually right on time if I show up on time). The doctors (Dr Udal before she left and now Dr Kumar) spend a lot of time asking questions about my entire health picture and current issue before trying many alternatives. My only complaint -- and it's significant -- is the absolutely ridiculous wait time to get an appointment. Weeks or even months. That makes them an unreasonable alternative for urgent issues. They get a very bad rap (undeserved) in this site. If you read some of the reviews are from drug seekers. One star b/c they require a drug screen before prescribing pain meds? Of course they do! That is normal and responsible! Other reviews are similar. I will say they are part of Santa Rosa Community Health Centers, and many of their locations are terrible. Brookwood for one is the worst medical facility I have ever been to in my 50 years. Unprofessional reception. At least an hour wait with an appointment, and it's not uncommon to have to wait 3 OR MORE! Completely unprofessional.
