All healthy looking and such a huge variety of plants. So many kinds of hydrangea among others plants, that it was hard to choose between all of the options, but I did! The Rose of Sharon varieties, ornamental grasses, ground covers of all kinds- sedums, ajuga, ornamental grasses, sedges, thyme etc. It's eye candy for a plant lover and the displays make it extremely hard to decide what to pick. I'll be back! Worth the drive from Lake George through the country to hit this pot of gold. Best nursery stock in the area. I miss Mead's Nursery and am going to miss GardenTime in Queensbury. I think I have always bought power equipment from the big box stores. Price certainly was a factor…read morebut this year kind of changed that for me. I needed a new snow blower and order a Cub Cadet from Home Depot online. They dropped shipped the snow blower from the factory to me. It needed some assembly and after completing that assembly in an hour I realized the entire front of the snow blower was damaged by a forklift during shipping. After dealing with the not so nice folks at Home Depot I decided I was done making those kind of purchases at the big box stores. Went over to Falls Farm and Garden and bought a brand new Honda Snowblower. It definitely cost more but the quality of the actual snow blower was much better and the customer service I received was top notch from these guys. Fast forward 5 days I decided I also needed a new lawn tractor that I was trying to hold off on buying until spring. Would have gone with a John Deere that the big box stores sell but let me tell you the dealer models are so much better, I had no idea. Got a John Deere X384. Again not cheap but Falls Farm and Garden delivered it to me the same day because they knew I wanted to get some yard work done before winter. That meant a lot. Both the snow blower and lawn tractor had been filled with gas and delivery driver went over everything with me. Again they cost a bit more but the level of customer service you receive is worth it. You have gained a customer for life!
