During a service repair to my transmission the tech apparently used a torch to remove stubborn bolts during which the heat melted my CV axle boot and it lost all the grease and had to be replaced. Worst car dealership I have ever dealt with. They should receive negative stars! Completely ignored and disrepected by the sale staff. Also highly deceptive in the price quote they sent me via text before we made the long trip to look at the car. Were ready and able to buy on the spot, but when the sales staff couldn't give a rats ass about selling you a car, why would you buy from them? They are joke of a dealership. But worse yet, they have sullied the Ford brand. After this experience I will never buy a Ford. Going back to Volvo where the dealers actually care about serving their customers. read more

I had been thinking about trading my 2014 pick up but was not sure of the but was not sure what make of truck I wanted to purchase. I was laos debating on purchasing a used or new pick up. I stopped at Jim Xamis and worked with Todd E. He took his time showing me different options and talked about purchasing new or used. I ended up buying a used 2023 Fi50 Hybrid with low miles. Hopefully the Hybrid will save on my gas bill as I do a lot of in town driving. Todd was a low pressure salesman and easy to deal with. He took his time with me explaining many of the features in the truck as there are a lot of new features in the 2023 that were not in my 2014 vehicle. Recently purchased a Lincoln MKZ Reserve for my wife at Jim Xamis. It's about an hour away so obviously timing isn't always the best or easiest thing when buying a car that far away but it was pretty smooth start to finish. I mainly worked with Kevin (who we did most of the deal with) but we also worked with Sam (who is a newer employee). Sam set the car out for us and had a nice welcome sign on the car for us when we arrived. Overall both salesmen were great to deal with and seemed to both really enjoy working at Jim Xamis. The atmosphere was welcoming and the overall process was really simple. Which is nice when you have 2 kids with you the whole time. Both guys were very quick to respond to questions via email/text/phone call which was very helpful. Jim Xamis Ford - Lincoln is very fair with trade value and open and honest about the whole transaction. Something I greatly appreciate as it is not very common with most dealerships I have worked with. They also gave my wife a dozen long stem red roses as a thank you for doing business with them. Something I have never seen nor heard of before... my wife was extremely happy with the gesture. Something as small as that will earn them some return business. It put a smile on her face and that's not something I will forget. The ONLY thing I would have liked to have seen done differently is to have the exterior of the car washed before I arrived since they had a days notice. It was washed after we purchased it so that's not a huge deal (and it's not like it was filthy) but that was my only tiny gripe. June 4th was heading north on vacation. My 1995 F250 clutch pedal went to floor. While restaurant suggested tow, I arranged U-haul back to St. Louis. I towed to Jim Xamis for repair and came back to pick up truck on way back from vacation. Same clutch issue, within a mile. Towed to Xamis again. Came back in other car to get truck. Clutch issue again, after 140 miles. Sylvan Springs Automotive in St. Louis discovered jerry rigging by Xamis, wouldn't keep working with bad pedal assembly. Pedal assembly replaced and working well. No compensation by Xamis for poor work. read more

I had a few suggestions for various repair places and I knew of Xamis's reputation so I called them. Within 10 minutes they were at my car and within an hour I had a new battery and happily motoring home. They did cost a bit more than the Wal-Mart repair, but the lengths to which they went to make sure everything was just right, plus rescuing me from the McDonalds parking lot--they even reset the clock on car! The service department does not know what they are doing with air conditionings on their own vehicles! My dad bought a Ford Fiesta 2 summers ago and in Aug that year had to have it recharged. Then last summer again had to do it then to find out there was a leak and had the entire reservoir replaced. This year when the air went out I took it out to Xamis and ask them "there has got to be an issue with this particular vehicle or type of vehicle?" The response I got was " this happens with all vehicles not just Fords" Then looking at the history of the vehicle they had actually repaired the air conditioning before they sold it to my father! I have had it to them twice in 5 days!! They fixed it on Tuesday it went out on Friday they fixed it again on Saturday and it went out on Monday!! Now they won't see it until Thursday!!! You are a certified Ford dealer, maybe do some research with them to figure this out for an 80 year old man needing air conditioning during 90° weather.
