Had the same experience with Jimco, Leonard Welchel, co owner,came out to give an estimate didn't hear from for two months then he said he was working on it then he said it was fine and somebody to work on the gate, then got a phone call saying they couldn't do the job what I guess customer services is dead! read more

I will never use this company again, buyer beware! They started a job at my home without contacting me before so i would know when.. They just showed up to do the job when i was at work and not expecting them. They removed part of my fence in downtown albany ( reset a post new concrete) but are leaving it this way for a week to ten days. I came home from work to the fence missing and items missing from my back yard... i was robbed the very day they were at my place directly as a result of the open fence. I called to talk to them and they could not care less. Until my new gate is "fabricated" i get to have an open fence to a very busy street. Never mind they rent temporary fence solutions etc for contractors etc apparently not for paying "small job" residential consumers. When the police were taking the report even they were amazed that a contractor would leave such a space open. Never again! My contacts to them about this resulted in an apology but no remedy for the open fence in the interim. Apparently customer service and meeting the needs of the person paying for your services it not what this company offers. They just want your money. read more

Jimco just finished installing a cyclone privacy fence on our property today. I must say that I am very favorably impressed with the quality of product and workmanship in this regard. Moreover, everyone that my wife and I interacted with at Jimco comported themselves responsibly and with the utmost courtesy. Highly recommended. read more
