They do a fantastic job, get the order right, and are super friendly. Fresh ingredients! I love their seasonal specials.

Jimmy John's is by far my favorite sub shop in town. I know, it's a chain but better than most. They sell their fresh sub breads for 75 cents, can't beat that. I usually buy them to make Vietnamese sandwiches. On to the sammies, I love what they put in their subs are simple but oh, so delicious. My favorite is a simple mayo, tomato, turkey, and alfalfa sandwich but it's so amazing. The staff is alright. After I ordered and paid, they had already made my sandwich and I saw them make it right in front of me. It's pretty quick. I've never ordered drive-thru before. Garbage. It's crazy, how someone is able to mess up the simple task of making a sandwich. Possibly one of the easiest foods to create, it was apparently still too hard for whoever made mine. Somehow, despite the fact that my sandwich had about five ingredients they still managed to forget half of them is lettuce that hard to add? What they did add they managed to do incredibly poorly. There were about two spots of mustard in separate parts of the sandwich. Really nice to get that taste in two bites, the rest of the sandwich tastes as dry, and unappetizing as it looks. Possibly the worst sandwich I've ever ordered. Never getting food from here again. Literal trash, I would've gotten better food dumpster diving. Tasted more like the idea of a sandwich than an actual sandwich. we also ordered utensils and straws which they neglected to include. Despite the fact that this was again an extremely small order. The other sandwich we got had a total of one piece of spicy pepper on it. It feels like they got their ingredients from digging through the throw up of someone who ate an actual good sandwich. Friendly, quick service that waited until all sandwiches & unwiches were made before delivering them, which actually lead to us eating together versus staggered one by one. The sandwich pros here know what they are doing, making everything just right. We had a half dozen in our party and no ones orders were botched. If I lived here I'd eat here all he time! read more

I have been doing a report on how workers are treated at various businesses. I do not work at Jimmy Johns so all my information Is gathered second hand from the workers who do work at Jimmy John's. The owners of this particular business think it's ok to lie to their workers about their salary. Many works that deserve a 1-2$ raise for acing a test on their knowledge of the menu, and/or have been there for over 90 days are still only making 7.25. Over the course of a few months, several general managers have quit because of poor ownership. Perhaps the worst thing though is that if I worker is sick, that worker still has to come in or he/she will be fired. These workers work with your food, yet the owners only care about getting more money. Their greediness is absolutely sickening! read more

An employee was sucking on a sucker in the food prep area. This made me feel disgusted since this is very unsanitary. This type of action (employees eating where food is made) should not be tolerated. Also employees are on their cell phones and playing very loud music in the restaurant. read more

Ordered four subs from the drive-thru today for my family to eat at school for lunch. Three of the subs were just fine but the fourth (my wife's) was absolutely rancid-smelling (and tasting) tuna. Since I was a few miles from Jimmy Johns after purchasing them my wife went without lunch instead. I stopped by the drive-thru on the way back to work to see if I could get a refund or gift card for the price of the sandwich (it's the principle of the thing really). The worker was upset that I didn't stop at the drive-thru speaker (sound quality is absolutely terrible and I didn't want to explain it twice). As I arrive at the window I saw him waving his arms at me. I got up to the window and explained the situation. He told me that that couldn't be true since they make their tuna every morning and opened up and inspected it. He said that because there was only one bite out of it, he offered to make me another tuna sandwich (no thanks!) or a different sandwich. I had already eaten so I had no use for another one. I asked for a refund or a gift card and he said that they don't do that. I told him to keep his sub and drove off angry. Terrible experience. Nothing like being told that you were wrong after having to go through the hassle of going back through a drive-thru. Other experiences with this franchise in the past: - as previously noted, drive-thru speaker and mic are awful, makes ordering very difficult - will not give you a bag or napkins unless you ask for them, I routinely ordered two-four subs for lunch and would have to ask for a bag everytime. Nothing like carrying four loose subs into a school! Not going back to Jimmy John's again after this experience. read more

Don't put a group order in online. They won't make your sandwich ahead of time. I put a group order in at 10:00 a.m. for 19 subs, with the expected pick up time of 2:45 p.m. I got there at 3:00 and the girl told me "it will be a minute". I saw her pull the long receipt out and go start making the sandwiches. I said, "you don't have ANY of the sandwiches made" and she said no, it will be about 5 minutes. So I stood there for 15-20 minutes waiting for her to make the sandwiches. I also thought that since they have a spot for a "name" on the order page for each sub, that they would be marked with names. NOPE! It was a number faintly written on it, so handing them out to my team was a disaster! When she handed me the box of subs, I got a "sorry for the wait". Jimmy John's is one of my favorite places to eat when I am on the go. This location is pretty good. The store itself is usually clean and has plenty of seating. Since Stevens Point is a college town, a majority of the people who work there are college students. Most of them are great while others have an attitude problem. The sandwiches are always great. Overall, I would recommend going there if you like Jimmy John's. read more

I second Rebecca S. I also have second hand knowledge of a worker at Jimmy Johns who has been a witness and a victim of bad management (examples are talking rudely about coworkers behind their backs, or trying to fire someone because he/she felt wearing sunglasses was disrespectful, but they were prescriptive lenses, was a delivery man, and quite sunny that day). The worker did not get a raise when they said he/she would. Also this worker was discharged from the ER and had work that very day, his/her attempts to find someone to take the shift failed and was written up for it, even though he/she still arrived at work on time. Only to be suspended from work 3.5 hours later. This person was in a lot of pain while working, the person's wound required stitching and was still very sore from the procedure. This is not a review against their sandwiches or Jimmy Johns in general, I'm sure they are just dandy, it's just disturbing what I hear about how the workers are treated there in Stevens Point. read more

I've been to this location multiple times and have never had a great experience. Jimmy Johns slogan is "sub so fast you freak" but if you order delivery you shouldn't expect your sub anytime in the near future. Also, the quality and care they put into making your sub is sub par... no pun intended. My sub today looked like it got blown up by a fire cracker, my pickle supposed to be cut in quarters was actually cut into 75%, 10%, 8% and 7%. I love Jimmy Johns but the care for customers lunches could be improved. read more

Normally I love Jimmy Johns but this time the food was marginal coupled with the fact that the delivery driver claimed he didn't have change. My order totaled $23 and I gave the driver $30 since I had no other change. He claimed that he couldn't give me change when I asked for $2 back. I asked why he didn't have change and he said "they don't give me change for big orders like this." Um as far as I know 2 sandwiches and two cookies is not a big order! He offered to dig out some quarters from his change in the car. I said forget it. Was it a ploy to get more tips or do they really not send the drivers out without change? Either way, I'd pay with a credit card or have the exact amount of money plus tip. read more

We called and asked if they took checks and the answer was yes...driver got here and said they only took business checks so we had to send the sandwich back. The 2nd sub was missing the turkey. Ordered Jimmy John's 20 mins before 10pm excited to get a sub when all of a sudden I get a call from one of the workers saying they couldn't deliver due to the rainy weather, as I got up to look outside my window: not only was it not raining but an Erberts & Gerberts vehicle passed by which made me take my business over to them....they don't mind a little water on the road...definitely never ordering Jimmy Johns again. This Jimmy John's location is terrible. The drive through speaker is the worst. It is really tinny and loud. You can hardly understand the workers and they have a hard time understanding you. You have to ask for a bag and napkins every time. They just expect you to carry your subs and chips loose and have mayonnaise all over your face and hands, I guess. read more

This was DISGUSTING!! The sign on the outside of the building says "FREE SMELLS", but all I got was a cold sandwich that smelled like nothing. Wish I could say the same about the taste but unfortunately I cannot. It was covered in so much mayo it should have been named the mayo sandwich instead of the Italian. It was absolutely nauseating. I got a lettuce wrap, which I usually love but it was a slime fest because of the mayo. I had to go back and fourth to the counter to get more napkins because they don't stock them at the tables like every other food serving establishment on earth. And the worst part: in attempt to save my disgusting slimy meal I found no salt and pepper at my table because....THEY DONT HAVE ANY!!!' No salt and pepper??!! Really?! I don't eat ANY meal without salt and pepper. GET IT TOGETHER JIMMY JOHNS! Also I received my sandwich wrapped in paper with no plate or tray to eat on, so I got stuff everywhere. Just went through the drive thru here. Normally I get their roast beef sub, and it's delicious! Love the sandwiches here. However, I ordered a water today instead of a soda, and found that they charge for a cup of water. This is unacceptable. If I wanted to pay for my drink, I would order a drink, not just get a water. With the amount of other choices to eat lunch in the area, Jimmy Johns will not be getting my business again. read more

First time having Jimmy John's. Sandwich was okay, nothing spectacular. Delivery driver was a complete ass. He showed up without enough money for change. Told him he wasn't getting a tip of $5.76 for a three block drive, stuck at work or I would have went to get it. He got an attitude, and when he came back with my change he threw it at me. While I may try Jimmy John's again in the future, I will definitely never get another sandwich from this particular shop. read more
