Delightful staff, which is equalled by the excellent food. A very comprehensive menu with so many combinations. Excellent wine choice available, and they do a really good coffee. Having tried most other fish and chip shops around Worthing, Chipwicks have a serious edge over the shops that sell old crunchy chips or cook their fish in old or inferior oil - they seem to pride themselves in their freshness. Every single time I have been there (and that's a lot) there are queues of fish and chip lovers, testament to the quality. We find it's quite nice to get your supper and eat it on the beach, a mere minutes stroll away.

Seeing as I moved away to another town 8 years ago and then to another country 2.5 years ago it's now not that often but I always make a point to get fish and chips a couple of times from here. This fish and chip shop was closed for a while recently for a refurbishment and they have now reopened and are much busier, additionally they have added in kebabs and a delivery service. The batter on the fish and battered sausage is always perfect, not to crispy and not too soggy. The same can be said for the chips. Hence why I always return. Only reason it is not a five star rating is that it doesn't open late.
