This…read moreshop may have been the smallest shop I stopped in our this day but it was so clean and well organized. They did not crowd the items in the shop so it was very easy to shop in there. It did seem a little more pricey than some of the others on Jefferson Street but the items all looked too be of good quality. I still found something that I wanted in the shop. I get hot easy and I love the little hand fans that fold down and you can carry on your purse. They are not that easy to find for some reason. At least the good quality metal ones not plastic. They also had a nice wooden one. I look forward to seeing what they have in their shop next year.

In comparison to some of the other larger antique malls the prices are very reasonable in here. My advice is to take your time and look through everything as there may be some hidden gem that you miss if you don't. Right now during the covid-19 pandemic face masks are required when entering the building and all staff are wearing them. All of the booths in the building are unmanned but the employees who work at the counter where you pay are able to contact the booth renters if you have a question on an item. The items found in the booths are varied. You will find antiques, unique items, glassware, cookware, clothes, Hot Wheels, and just about any other thing you can think of! Happy shopping.

You'll also find some gifts and clothes, but the plants are definitely the focal point of the shop. I picked up a tiny air plant and a pot for it and can't wait to see how she grows. I hope they expand their selection as the shop grows - there are lots of cute plant shops in Indianapolis but it was really nice to find this spot a little closer to home.

The staff stood out for their friendly, helpful approach. No one pressured us to buy, which I appreciated. It takes time to make decisions. You get space to think but get help when you need it. Jeff helped us complete our purchase. He knew the products well, answered our questions clearly, and made buying a breeze. His approach was exactly what I look for in a salesperson: knowledgeable without being pushy, friendly without being overbearing. The entire experience was easy from start to finish. I'll be back to Urban Styles for my future furniture and decor needs. I cracked up, seeing the selection of "Real Housewives of Greenwood," and Plainfield, Center Grove, Whiteland, and Southport pillows...but for a mind-boggling $179, there's no way. I also could absolutely do without the corner shrine-like room with a wax figure of president in life-size form, playing Hail to the Chief. There is a really cool array of life-size statues, repro movie memorabilia, and a lot of neat barware, inspired by Prohibition and speakeasies. Unfortunately, I feel like both the price and the scale of most of this business's offerings will be a little much for most southside residents. Still, a feast for the eyes and definitely something to experience.

This company is shady and overcharged me at a picker sale, and then lied about it…read more The man working the checkout table verbally told me an amount, never showed me his phone screen before asking me to tap for payment, and by the time I got to my car, I realized the error. When I went back to explain that I was overcharged, I was told I was lying and the man claimed he "would NEVER make such a mistake." It was genuinely so weird and deeply disturbing. (They will no doubt reply to this review claiming that I am lying because that is 100% who they showed themselves to be today.) His "solution" was for me to return everything and get a refund, but I wanted the items I got. So I'm left paying twice what I was told and he can go on being a crook. In the end, lesson learned about tapping for payment without seeing the amount with my own eyes, but I'm sharing this to prevent others from being swindled by this company/man. I also overheard them say that they burn most of what they don't sell if they can't trade things in for scrap...
