I didn't get his name, but I can tell that the barbers here are very skilled, and treat their clients very well. At the other barbershops I've been to , I hate how they would spend 40 min on the fade and 5 min on the top but the barber here was very attentive to what I wanted and actually took the time to make the cut perfect! The Stylist I had today was nice and maybe new but in the end I left with a bad and uneven haircut after a lengthy time for what should have been a "simple cut". Even after the glorious " join the line up" check in on the app. Red Flag#1 - I Could clearly see from the onset a push to up sell hair products -maybe by the business / corp. very obvious and annoying versus informative. Red Flag #2 This followed by not having an eye or Ear for blending /shaping / texturizing. I clearly could tell from the start. I tried once/ twice to clarify at the start but when I could tell my comments did not register or deflected and cutting was underway. I just shut my mouth in a damage control mode. Hoped for the best and tried not to show irritatation. Summary- Just wanted a basic clean short/ even cut blended correctly then get home after a Long double shift. Thought this would be a basic task here . Nothing special. -Wrong Get home looked closer and noticed very uneven neckline, patches on the side of my head that are not cut evenly or "blended" per se properly. Yep stuck with first world problems now Lol. Either going to be a hat on for the next 3 weeks or or shave my head down to a one. Either of which I really don't care but it's the principle. There was a language barrier between my own barber, but when I came in and showed pictures and explained what I wanted the other barber translated. He she leaves for another salon then ai would follow her to her new place of employment! I am not the only one that feels this way. She is always busy and I don't mind waiting for her. She is friendly and understands just how I want my hair cut. Her skill level is top notch (honestly she is TOO GOOD for this place). The haircut is $25 and I always give a CASH tip of at least $20. She is off on Tuesdays and Fridays so don't come on those days!
